Hello Friends. I have this issue. On my NECO certificate my name is written as Damilare Mayowa Akinjide but on my international passport, my name is written as Oludamilare Olumayowa Akinjide so the school is asking me to change the name to reflect what I have on my international passport but when I went to NECO for correction they refused claiming they don't do that and I have obtained an affidavit and submitted to the school but they said embassy may not accept. Whoever has been in such situation should help me with an advice. Thanks.

Due to challenges of securing a job I ended up working in a bank since 2017 and resigned in 2020 becauseI was clearly not happy. Now I have funds to further my studies. I applied for an MSC in Biotechechnology relating to my first degree. I went for a UK university open day and the lady outright told me I will be denied a UK visa because I have study gap and my work experience doesn't relate to my masters course. I choose not to be discouraged. I don't know if anyone has been in my situation and gotten a visa approval. Thank you

I think she’s right.
It’s all about career progression.
You might want to consider a career in finance/finTech since you already have the experience

Your best shot is to correct the name on your passport if possible

Hi All,

Please I have an issue. My transcript carries 20-02-96 which was an error on the part of the person that registered Jamb for me. However, my other credentials bear 20-02-97. Can I use an affidavit stating that 20-02-97 is my correct date and attach copies of other documents showing my correct age when applying for a Visa?

It was just normal questions about the school, my education background and UK, university of Greenwich. I applied for my CAS 3 weeks ago and it’s stuck at 61% since last week Wednesday, anyone with idea what I can do?

I know someone that graduated 2011, got admission and visa for this year’s September entry...don’t let any one kill your dream Abeg...

However if you want to follow the person’s advice...An MBA/ Msc management, or other management course might be ideal with your banking experience.....

But still, I still think 2015 is not that far to pursue a postgrad in biotechnology .....if you can convince the interviewer at the embassy, you shouldn’t have a problem....
with super priority visa... u might even circumvent the interview.

Hello guys
I’m about to apply for MSC adult nursing September 2022 intake but the major issue is that most schools require a previous job experience in the health care setting for a minimum of 400hours.
I have 2 questions
1)Is there any school that doesn’t require the 400hours experience?

2)Is it advisable to lie about experience in your cv?


The only school that doesn’t make the 400 hours mandatory is university of Dundee but the program is for 3 years and I think hertfordshire but they are closed for sept 2022.

I would advice you not to lie about your experience because a reference letter is usually requested from where you got your experience from and you would be given a portfolio to fill by the school , in which you would have to go into in-depth details about your experience and it would be signed off by your referee.
Its not too late to get care experience , you can volunteer in a hospital or a social care setting prior to resumption in September

Yes, still better but state during the visa application. No need to hide what they would later detect via your biometric enrollment.
