see as people dey predict doom against capeverde same capeverde we beat at home with a second string team
the high rate of negativity here na the reason I go leave this thread soon

I have never seen fans turn against their own team no matter the situation like I see here

So pathetic that some wish the team not to qualify just to justify their disgusting hate on the coach and some of the players

While some wish the team doom just to have a good chance to campaign for the appointment of a local coach

Victor Moses is more guilty of over-dribbling, losing the ball and selfish plays. Yes, but he has had moments with great end results in big games (Afcon and wc) more than deficiencies, rohr should have asked him back, not Ighalo IMO

Victor Moses enjoyed a lot of service from Mikel
Absolutely, Mike doesn't get enough credit for his midfield work, holding and passing

However Victor Moses's contributions to defense, vision and crossing makes him an excellent wingback.

We could still use him

Great points!

you people should appeal, and if possible down to CAS

The game won't be replayed.. Unless CAF want to delay the playoff draw further..

That being said, what's Patrice Motsope doing ?

Ahmad Ahmad and Hayatou used their influence as CAF president to help their countries several times.

Seven most outstanding players of the match against Liberia

The list below was compiled based on the impact the listed players had on the outcome of the match.

Victor Osimhen
Chidozie Awaziem
Kelechi Iheanacho
Wilfred Ndidi (We see what we see)
Chidera Ejuke.
Jamilu Collins

Jamilu Collins and Ahmed Musa were included after a second thought.

Victor Moses is more guilty of over-dribbling, losing the ball and selfish plays.
Let's not allow the constant hanker for the things that we have had or yet to have overtake us.

For the emboldened, you are right. That's what the current squad lack, but you should take cognizance in the fact that what you described is the job of midfielders, not wingers.
Victor Moses enjoyed a lot of service from Mikel.

I ponder what Victor Moses will do against a team like C.A.R coupled with the deficiency we suffered in the midfield.

Pace, dribbling, through balls, and finishing, are what accounts for good wing forward play and these are areas where players like Samuel Chukwueze and Chidera Ejuke excels, making them more preferable than Victor Moses.
However Victor Moses's contributions to defense, vision and crossing makes him an excellent wingback.

Hmmm!
Will Moses readily agree to play wingback for Nigeria? I doubt.

He might b right in his reasons for declining the offer.
But just because the previous ones failed to yield results does not mean we should completely abandon such projects like that.

If we are playing a 3-5-2 he should agree to play wing back because there will be no space for his natural wing position

I think SAFA should. Not that it would change anything as far as the current qualifiers are concerned but at least let it be noted by FIFA to avoid a re-occurrence in future

I'm just aknowledging we were robbed, whether it's the first or the last time that's irrelevant. We scored a legitimate goal against the same Ghana in Johannesburg and it was disallowed, meaning we should have won 2-0. Growing up during the Lucas Radebe, Benni McCarthy era we used to joke when our team was to play away on the continent that "oh we are playing in Burkina Faso, we gonna get cheated" and it would happen. It's been happening for the longest of time and CAF must do something about it.

Dude I understand u... I'm a Ghanaian I know it's not a penalty many Ghanaians know it's not a penalty we don't want team to qualify cuz if our team can't beat Ethiopia and ur team what shows we'll do well in the world cup not even the playoffs but soft penalty happens anywhere in the world that's what I want u to understand bro.
