Please I will like to know if Enrolment letter is required to travel from lagos, especially if the time for Enrolment is yet to start for your school. I've heard some people say they were asked for acceptance letter, others Enrolment letter and others both. If you have any information, please share. |

I sent to Lagos because I did my biometric in Lagos and now I donno why they asking me to pay transmission fee again ? Please has anyone experience this lately ? Kindly assist |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Nobody: 4:45pm On Nov 15, 2021 |
Wow! That's strange. I thought folks here said the only reason why you need to pay a transmission fee is if you send your passport to a VAC other than the one you did capture for biometrics. Has something changed? Romoke1995: |

Did you include the blue long slip they gave you when you did biometrics, with the documents you sent to them? Romoke1995: |

Hello nairaland family, I just found out this forum. Please I have an urgent question. I submitted my application with my wife (SOWP) application. Program is fully funded PhD. I submitted NSE requirements (IELTS, and MBS), but my spouse didn't do IELTS . But we submitted every other necessary documents (marriage certificate with photos, wife's academic certificates, proof of her works). Note that I showed financial capacity to take care of her. My worries: My study permit has been approved yesterday, but her application is yet to be finalized, I thought both applications should be finalized at the same time? Can anyone give me an idea why her application is yet to be finalized and how long can we be waiting (submission is 3 months now), I have sent emails to nairobi, but no response. Please, I need your contribution, I really want to travel with her... Thank you for your wonderful works here. |

Perhaps, this is the reason they requested that you make the payment. Do you have an idea how long it will take to get your passport back, and which courier did you use? Romoke1995: |

Please wait for the experienced to look at this, but the approvals I have seen don't often come simultaneously. Your spouse's approval will happen just in time in Jesus' name. adeeeeeeeee: |

adeeeeeeeee: Congratulations on your approval.. Her application can not be approved because one of the many requirements for an SOWP is your stamped visa, study permit, work permit, enrollment letter and you cant get much of them while you are in nigeria. What you might do is to send mails notifying the office that your app has been approved and you expect your spouse app to be approved automatically. Include a screen shot of your approved application portal and the PPR. 1 Like |

Dear all, I want to apply for multiple universities for graduate degree in Computer science. Because of the application fees, are there universities with free applications fees. or if anyone can help with cheap schools. thanks |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Prettymi20: 5:23pm On Nov 15, 2021 |
Please is it advicable to reapply without ordering for GCMS not first? That is because school resumes in January and the note would take about 30 or more days . The next intake is September So thinking of reapplying working to make a stronger case on home tie and purpose of visit. For example, just working on all the concerns around purpose of visit. If you have a masters degree but haven't worked in that line for over 10 years, how do you convince the VO that going for a PGC in your current employment is a reasonable investment? |

Anon123: Thanks for your response, I think that's contrary to what IRCC stipulates as family accompanies. I have actually heard of people in this category gotten their visas (study permit and SOWP) approved at the same time. Please somebody should enlighten us on this... |

Prettymi20: So sorry about the delay. Why don't you defer to May (if it is possible in your school), order for your notes and refire. The next will be a success! 1 Like |
