Nonsense posthumous birthday rubbish.

Posterity will never be kind to Azikiwe. He was in a better position to give the south easterners and south south their sovereign nation , but he was busy licking the ass of idiotic hausa fulanis. Assuming he did the needful, why on earth will i share a country with nonentities.

I know he's in pertual regret wherever he's now for rejecting Biafra

When we will mentioned the heros in BIAFRALAND, Zik can never come close, he won't even be remembered.

Biafra land has no heroes..

That's just the painful fact! His achievements in Igbo land and for Igbos are unmatched. Neither Kanu nor Ojukwu can/have done half of what he did.

By farrrrr...In fact, comparing those two ekperimas to Zik is an insult to Zik. Both in education, achievements, wisdom, athletics, name it...He was far ahead of them.

The Nnamdi wey put us for the wahala wey we dey today. If he had allowed the North to go when they wanted to secede maybe I’d have a good reason to celebrate him wholeheartedly, but nevertheless he’s still a great man.

Can someone educate me on how igbos, has benefited from the existence of nnamdi azikiwe. We would have been better off, if this man never ever existed. He is the father of present day nigeria and the genesis of all the ordeals nigerians, especially igbos are facing today. It will never be well with your soul nnamdi azikiwe

The mistake you Igbos keep making is that until you drop this Biafra nonsense, your fortunes will continue to nosedive in Nigeria and Africa at large. The Igbos were a great people who were in the lead politically and economically upon indepence until the Nzeogwu coup and subsequent Biafra.Today, the Igbos have become the slaves of this country labouring for the Hausa, yorubas as traders all over the place.Yet you guys won't get sense

His idealistic views were noble for a patriotic Nigerian. But he really could've ended this contraption and he didn't. Independence day should have ended the Amalgamation of the south and the north. as an intelligent man he could've fought harder for this.

Another man I won't forgive is Ironsi. Another fool who should never have tried ruling. He could've divided and ended this mess. He chose power and power killed him.

It's just a matter of time before another muppet southerner gets into power. And they'll still not have sense

I don't think you should blame ironsi. Ironsi was trained (indoctrinated) by the British to protect Nigeria and the ecowas and was a resound soldier by UK standards. Ironsi squashed the Adaka-boro freedom agitation in Niger-Delta, arrested Boro after a seven days war. Ironsi (Nick named Ironside like Bjorn) also was commander of nigerian troops that entered Ghana and brought peace to the warring country. My point being ironsi was not as opened minded as Zik but was also a Pan-African in his own way and would never have dissolved Nigeria because he believed in African unity, the reason he dissolved the region thing. He was trained, used and dumped by the British. He's only Bleep up was not killing the coup plotters or killing the counter-coup plotters cos he got the Intel but dismissed it.

Vilifying Dr. Azikwe will not change the course of history, he did what was best in his judgement at that point in tym.

Giving the circumstances of that tym, nobody ever thought Nigeria will be what it is today except God.

He is better than most of the leaders that have come out of igbo nation take or leave it.

Good intention my ass. Just fews years after independence, azikiwe and his likes, just proved that they were far worse than the colonial masters. The level of corruptions and tribal sentiments going on, gave birth to the first coup in nigeria. They are very much villains in my eyes.
They simply wanted to be incharge of nigeria and loot our resources
