I'm going for master of law, research based LLM and second class upper 3.99/5.00 for my Bachelor of laws, second class lower from Nigeria law school and in my college of education I studied ENGLISH/POLITICAL SCIENCE which is also related course for law, I need your candid advise on this please

Your masters admission GPA requirement targets your last two years of study. In this sense the NCE can only be a plus since you did that below LLB. However, your law school result is more recent than your LLB, so your Law school result is a blow to your application. The result is too low.

The final decision is yours. However, your proposed program might be very aware of the fact that Nigerian law students go to law school. So, if you apply without it, they might request for it later. No one can fully predict what may happen. All the best.

NSE route doesn’t work

It sure works oh! I'm not saying it doesn't, but I noticed allot of applicants, I mean, 90, if not 95% out of 100% applications are through the NSE route.

Makes me feel like IRCC no longer honours the regular route as such, because even the NSE route which is suppose to take only 20 days, takes a whole lot of time, some taking up to 5 months now! Leaves me wonder, if NSE can be taking this long, the normal regular route needs divine intervention. oh!

Almost immediately as you need the permit and possibly the sin.
No need waiting for too long.

Please, how long does it take you when you get to Canada before you start processing your family to join you?

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Lianna2020: 4:46pm On Nov 16, 2021
You can book your medicals ahead and then go ahead to apply for your visa. Don’t wait to do Medicals because there are no closer date .

Ruby22:
Please I need help regarding medicals for Nigerian Student Express. I was told I have to do the upfront medicals before i can apply but I have not been able to get a slot for medicals(both Lagos and Abuja). There are no available slots through to march 16th 2022. Same with Qlife as well.

I got admission to Conestoga College for May 2022 intake. Can someone kindly explain how I can go about starting my Visa application.

A better phone can still give you a desired picture quality. All you need to do is to download an app called CamScanner. This is what I have been using to scan all my documents and the picture quality have been great.
Best of luck!
This is what I intend using! I have a good flagship device.

So I'm sure it'd do the Job well.
.

Thank you.

Thank you i really appreciated sir,
University British Columbia is more concern with Bachelor of Law LL.B and in my law school my second lower look somehow you know Nigerian law school grade us base on our lowest scored in my result I had 4B AND 1C that why my CGPA in dropped..
Am working with a law firm presently and I've 11 publications in reputable academic journal both in Nigeria and India apart from my NCE and LL.B thesis which I also explain them in my SOP.
Sir can this 11 publications enhance my chance of getting admission at UBC?

Also plus having thesis proposal supervisor already?

I think you have a good chance with your profile. You may want to apply to more than one school to increase your probability of getting admission. For masters and phd admisison, I usually suggest to 3-5 schools applications. Feel free to reach out if you want. All the best.

Hello, please I got a message to do my medicals. Please I want to do it in Abuja. How should I go about it so that I can get a very close appointment? Which of them between Qlife or IOM can I just walk in and be attended to immediately?
Also, which of them will be able to give me a swift appointment with my IMM letter?

The person should send them mail and attached his or her international passport within 24 hrs after the auto-reply, he or she will receive a mail of an appointment date. I and other persons did it recently and it worked.

Ketima:

Ok, thanks a lot. The person isn't a resident in Lagos., so it will be hard to do so. Was asking about it as the person wanted to enter Lagos the same day (as IOM is within the proximity of the airport), do it the same day, and then return back to base the next morning. Guess we have to make do with Qlife then.

Good morning people!
I've been following up on nairaland from Google, just recently registered, I haven't really known how to use it, I don't even know how this message will appear, so please manage me

(Please note: I'm using an agent)

I worry dear nairalanders! I'm a mature student, graduated high school in 2008, had issues with my 1st degree, just rounded up child bearing and decided to go back to school as I feel purposeless.

So,I applied to universities in MAY waited for the longest two months of my life, finally got admitted into MOUNT SAINT VINCENT UNIVERSITY, HALIFAX NOVA SCOTIA, in July.

Went on to apply on AUGUST the 9th 2021 went for biometrics on 13th of AUGUST.

(Regular application, not NSE) for winter 2022

My people, my application is already 3months! Will be 3 months since biometrics in 2 days!

Anybody on this same application boat with me?

The wait is draining!

Sistrens and brethrens!
Same here I applied august 8 and nothing till date

Okay. The people that get visas within 50-60 days didn’t submit NSE requirements. I am a testimony

Woow. Ok that's good. Never knew of this.

Now in doing this, can the person make suggestion of date and time he/she wants when sending the email. This IOM rarely answer calls why?
