Which Saka was idle?

Which Nigerian players are better than those already in the team?

You can say that Rohr is not a great coach..

But his player scouting is topnotch..
Did you just ask which Nigerian players are better than those already in the team? What the hell are you saying? Taiwo Awoniyi(Union Berlin), Adeyemi who plays for Salzburg and one other striker that plays for Sparta prague. All these Strikers have a far promising future than Ighalo.

This message is for those that feel that Nigeria has qualified for the world cup by winning the group...

There are 10 teams left in the African qualifiers and there will be 5 home and away matches between this teams.

The top 5 African teams according to the FIFA Rankings would be seeded against the other teams

I just don't understand did new system of qualifying for world cup y na

I think they added more African countries to the world cup qualifiers which will definitely make the contestants fight to survive at the playoffs....

If we continue playing this way...even if we meet non North African countries...we go still chop ham....

It’d seem fair to go by this because some teams are easier than others
Qatar World Cup is in November or December
It’s possible
Senegal, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco are no joke
did you they will stop league for them to play additional 8 matches? Most of those players you are seeing are very key in the club. Football is not arrange like the way you want it .

FT Nigeria 1 - 1 Cape Verde

So eagles came into the match with the intention of drawing?

Very poor outing. They hardly had 6 completed passes

So, Nigeria drawing the match grin

Next thing we will hear is that our coach has called Sunday oliseh, wilson oruma, tijani babangida, kanu nwankwo and taribo west out of retirement for our next match...
Or drag one naija player from philippines league to join him.
No be this coach again?

What is paining me the most he the sting language he used before the match.
That it was gonna be an all out war!!

Watching 4 aside in my street is more intense than watching whatever rohr and his boys were doing with an underdog like Cape Verde this evening.

Tueh! Eagles my balls.

They should just merge this team with Algeria or Egypt.
I can tell that those guys will also be praying to avoid us bcs, Super Eagles can be very unpredictable.

Sincerely, this our team will fumble in the next round and at the cup of nations if we don't sack this Rohr now.

The real problem is NFA, even if the coach is sacked, the problem with the team will persists. Selection is one of the major problems of the team, and NFA plays a major role in that aspect.

It's obvious this team cannot win anything
Not even a FIFA fair play trophy
I pray they get pitched against Algeria at the play offs
Let's stop displaying our mediocrity at the world stage
I wish Osimen well
Imagine if he was playing in a team like Germany!
I wish you watched what Serbia played against Portugal; then you will understand why our football is mediocrity

The National team is like Chelsea under lampard.......so much talent but very poor management

They can't play 8 matches with the few international break they are going to have.... I'm sure the break won't be more than 2 because there are lot of club matches to be played by next year....

Awoniyi is already in the team..

That he was not invited today does not mean that he's not part of the team..

If you are calling Adeyemi..

You can as well call Cyril Desser,Shehu Musa and Dennis Emmanuel..

Since they are all doing well..

There's nothing wrong with Ighalo being invited..

He has the experience and he is not doing badly in his club..

So why shouldn't he be invited?

We have a lot of young players forwards who are inexperienced..

So having an experienced head among them is not a bad idea..

Everybody can't be invited at the same time..

As far as I can see..

The players invited or not invited is not the issue..

The tactics of the coach is the issue..

Topnotch indeed for bringing ighalo, we are not lacking strikers but creative/offensive midfielders. Ighalo is surplus to requirement.
Ighalo is not surplus to requirement..

He’s still doing well and his experience cannot be bought overnight..

And bringing him into the team does not stop midfielders from being invited..

The stupid NFA had to recall an ageing Ighalo, who plays in an obscure Saudi Arabian league. When we have young players playing in Europe doing so well that needs to be given opportunity. This country is sick.
Na that Yeye Amaju pinnick that is influencing the choice of strikers. Why looking for another Igbo striker in the person of ighalo when we already have 3 good strikers that are Igbo. Ighalo is no more playing in competitive leagues so why inviting him again leaving young Awoniyi.

Same Bukayo Saka, when he first started starring for arsenal
Saka was never an option for Nigeria..

I am an Arsenal fan and I knew that he was never going to play for Nigeria..

When he had been hyped by the English from day one..

No English born player that had a good chance of playing for the English team..

Is going to have Nigeria as his first option..

Can't NFF identify better nigeran players /descents and talk to their parents directly ? Saka was there idle before Britain pounced on him, there are better nigerians abroad than almost the selected players we are parading. Sack the dumb coach first and put people like mikel obi that have trained under many world class coaches sef go better pass this man in charge.
Arm chair analyst , well done

According to you, since we need experience and anybody can be invited, then NFA should not only invite Ighalo, they can as well recall Mikel, Obafemi Martins and Victor Moses.
