If you are talking about the web app, I have used it.
The app takes much toll on system resources too, like RAM and CPU with consequences on battery life.
Watching on Facebook doesn't consume much data but the NFF app na big disaster

There is rumour that rohr may be sacked soon
Why wait till now? 2 months to AFCON and 4 months to WCQ playoffs?
Make those clowns just shut up abeg. Keep Rohr till after AFCON and if he qualifies, the World Cup.
Unless of course they want Salisu to replace him...

NFF might just go ahead and appoint Salisu as the new coach...or another low budget Oyinbo coach
my fear too. I hope they throw it open and do proper interview or better still approach a semi retired grade A coach

The number is limited and you cannot invite everybody Awoniyi's time will come, this is not a friendly match where you invite and try all sort of players, this is a qualifying match and any reasonable coach will go for established players
Established players my foot
Your best legs aren't established because of this coach call ups.

The 10 teams set for the playoffs:

Senegal
Tunisia
Morocco
Algeria
Nigeria
Egypt
Ghana
Cameroon
Mali
DR Congo

Bretheren, of these 10, 9 are on the Top 10 African nations in FIFA rankings, only DRC is outside Top 10, and they are #14

Playoffs will be bloody. There will be no easy draw, especially not for Nigeria. Everywhere just red for us

If we avoid those stubborn North African nations, we have to deal with the rivalry with Ghana on one end, and the rivalry with Cameroon on the other end. Na only DRC and Mali we no get rivalry with.

Therefore, our best bet is most likely DRC and Mali, a close third could be Egypt. I no wan use eye see Abedi Pele boys, or Eto'o brothers for this playoff, God abeg
Egypt DRC and Ghana won’t be bad, their attack is quite blunt

To me, the easiest teams to meet are Dr Congo and Ghana. Egypt will be a little more difficult, then Mali, and Cameroon will be the most difficult.

Good point. Uruguay being out is fake news. I mean, even if they don’t make the top 4, they can still qualify via the playoffs.

Yup. The African qualifiers are by far the toughest ones to navigate. And what annoys me the most is that these Arab countries only know how to compete against Sub Sahara African countries but they will collapse once they get on the world stage. I hope none of them makes it this time around. I would rather have:
Nigeria
Cameron
Senegal
Mali
Congo DRc or Ghana representing Africa than the likes of Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, and Egypt.

It is a crime for Africa to only have 5 spots. Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast and a couple of others have what it takes to compete on the world stage.

It is still quite early. Many countries have sacked coaches in much, much smaller time frames. Heck, Egypt sacked theirs during qualifiers

Uncle na 2 world cups o. He qualified us for the 2002 WCQ and he was sacked after winning bronze at the Nations Cup in Mali and replaced with Chief Onigbinde. He also qualified us for the 2010 WC and won Bronze again in 2010 afcon and was sacked and replaced with Larger Beer before the WCQ. Amodu's sin was that we weren't playing an entertaining brand of football.

in 2002 his sin was that he couldn’t control Oliseh and finidi from almost beating the then sport minister but in 2010 his football was boring and truth be told we were almost unwatchable

And going by the outcome of those 2 times, it always ended at abysmal Failure. This is exactly why I am skeptical of sacking rohr in a World Cup year

What Will Happen To Nigeria's Talented Wingers As Rohr Seems To Have Found His Favoured Formation?
News Hub Creator

Gernot Rohr paraded a 3-5-2 formation against Cape Verde just as he did in the previous two games against Liberia and Central African Republic. The formation meant that Rohr did not utilize any forward wingman. Instead, Moses Simon and Jamilu Collins operated as wingbacks and were tasked with providing width for the team.

Since the gaffer has used this formation in the last three games and it has yielded results for the team, it is fair to say that the 3-5-2 formation may become Nigeria's go-to formation. After all, a major competition in the mould of the African Cup of Nations awaits in January and there is not enough time to experiment new formations.

However, this newfound formation may mean that Nigeria's talented wingers may not play a key role in the Nigerian team. In the game against Cape Verde that sealed Nigeria's place in the third round of the qualifiers, two traditional strikers in Ighalo and Osimhen were deployed. There was no forward wingman in the lineup except Moses Simon who may have found a new position in wing-back because of his strength and stamina. Even when substitutes were brought on, Rohr overlooked the likes of Chukwueze and Ejuke and opted for central attackers like Iheanacho and Onuachu.

Nigeria boasts of many talented wingers such as Samuel Chukwueze, Chidera Ejuke, Emmanuel Dennis and Samuel Kalu. However, it seems that Gernot Rohr's newfound formation may not be in favour of wingers. It remains to be seen how Gernot Rohr adjusts all these talented wingers into his formation, with top tournaments such as the AFCON and World Cup looming next year.
