Fast good remnant is the fastest way to kill your dog with the onions and additives and seasoning in it. Organ failure will come knocking on your door. I know cos I did this many many years ago as a dog owner. Not a good advise.

Ur right, leftovers are not good for dogs as they have their implications.

It's the same way red meat isn't good for humans, snacks and junk food also, even soda drinks, ice cream and all that. It doesn't mean we don't take them right?
If you're capable let your dogs stay on a diet of dog food for the best of health. If ur more comfortable with leftovers, let your dog eat leftovers, just make sure you don't ignore their diet completely.
But in no way should you judge a person's care for his dog by how much they expend from their pockets.

Now you just balanced your info on red meat, junk food, ice cream etc for humans. That would have been good if same balance was given while advising on fast food left over. I did that a long time ago when I did not know enough and I suffered the consequences. I am glad to share from my experience as post I reacted to did not post that caveat. Peace.

15kg dog kibble i usually buy goes for almost 30k now, so periods when things are rough i buy Bingo kibble which now goes for 13k in my area, Bingo lacks proper nutrients, like eating garri without soup! So for added nutrients i add eggs (with grinded egg shells for calcium), fish head or chicken legs. Any day we have left overs in the house, i mix it with her kibble (i know it aint good, but i hate having to throw food, especially in times like this). Some good days i go out of my way to spoil her, other days she just have to make do with what she gets.

Dogs have really adapted to all sorts of food in order to sustain itself, i have a neighbor with a beautiful well fed looking GSD. When i asked him what kibble he gives his dog, he said non, he has never bought dog food, she its what they eat; rice and garri!

Prices of dog foods arent stable dis days. i bought Optimax adult food 15kg 17,500 which my dog consume in three weeks, price now is 18,500. Optimax canned food 24 pcs now 12,000. in two month , i spent over 70k to buy dog food. my dog is pregnant now and one family member will be expecting me to give out puppy free

I dont expect any form of support for the dog upkeep from any family member and non will be informed when the puppies arrive. No free pup for any friend and family cos i discovered people dont appreciate free pup and usually neglect the dog since they didn't spend their money in purchasing the pup

Last year I gave a neighbor a puppy from my litter, he will leave the puppy and travel living the innocent dog in care of his wife who always come home late at night, behold the puppy died. Same neighbor are already asking for another puppy from me now, lots of family and friends have refuse to associate with me cos I can’t give them a puppy.
I’m selling my dogs up until I have a private property of my own
