MrBuzy: Kindly state the exact problem you are having and I will relay it to him and have him call you |
Re: Official Nissan & Infiniti Thread by MrBuzy: 7:01pm On Oct 05, 2021 |
Philadelphia: Good day. You said that I should state the problem. My Infiniti G35 2007 rpm gage and idle up and down continuously between 1100 to 1900 forever. This was after the Mechanic mistakenly cleaned the injectors and the thottle body (injector mouth). I took the car to an Electrician that uses scanner. He tried to control the idling up and down but couldn't. Fortunately that day, someone brought an Infiniti G35x 2007 for him to scan. He quickly removed the throttle body from that Infiniti and put into mine and my car start and settled well. So he advised that I should buy throttle body. I ended up buying it two pairs twice and none worked for my car. He tried with his scanner and it didn't work. He will bring it down with scanner and once the scanner is off, it will go up and down. I need solution to the problem because it seems that none is available for now. |

MrBuzy: What kind of scanner is he using? From your description, it sounds like he needs to carry out an idle relearn on the vehicle. 1 Like |

oluwaseunla: To my observation, His scanner is OK, he is one of the leading guys in Enugu on scanning. I even have to wait for a scanner he purchased newly to arrive Nigeria. A wireless scanner that can scan and print the results. |
Re: Official Nissan & Infiniti Thread by oluwaseunla(m): 7:44pm On Oct 05, 2021 |
MrBuzy: Good. So let him carry out an idle relearn on the car. That should sort the issue. |
Re: Official Nissan & Infiniti Thread by kingreign(m): 7:58pm On Oct 05, 2021 |
MrBuzy: Forget all the hype. If he can't perform a simple idle relearn procedure... |
Re: Official Nissan & Infiniti Thread by Philadelphia: 8:37pm On Oct 05, 2021 |
MrBuzy: I’ll send this to my mech. If he can resolve, then I’ll send you his number. Meanwhile, Heavenlybang, come and help. |
Re: Official Nissan & Infiniti Thread by HeavenlyBang(m): 8:39am On Oct 06, 2021 |
kingreign: Don't be too sure. I've seen this exact same issue as well. The relearn parameters just could not be met, nothing to do with the skill of the technician. I think this was discussed on the Nissan thread, it was an issue with that model. Fix was a new ECM. |

aieromon: Any alternative to this I guess the previous owner abused it. Should I go ahead with the recommended 5w-30 or switch to another? Thanks buddy |
Re: Official Nissan & Infiniti Thread by aieromon(m): 4:49pm On Nov 01, 2021 |
oluwaleokey: You can choose to use 20W-50 but make sure to drain every 3/4 months. |

Re: Official Nissan & Infiniti Thread by kingreign(m): 6:58pm On Nov 01, 2021 |
clems88: There's no such thing as 'Nissan S'. Nissan is a manufacturer, the 'S' is a trim level just like 'limited', 'sports', Luxury, etc. You should be able to identify the model. Such as Nissan Murano S, Nissan Murano SL, or Nissan Sentra S, Nissan Sentra SL, Nissan Sentra SE etc. |

Re: Official Nissan & Infiniti Thread by kingreign(m): 7:23pm On Nov 01, 2021 |
clems88:Altima S is the base model. They use CVT transmission and this unit, you're showing being a base model, may come with manual transmission. It's nothing going on much with that car. Many people find it okay, many have issues with their cvt transmission |
Re: Official Nissan & Infiniti Thread by Dododawa01: 11:11am On Nov 03, 2021 |
aieromon:You can also make use of 20w50 as well. Pls check your manual, its clearly stated there. |

Goodday everyone, I was driving home on Tuesday this week when I discovered my rmp rev very high and my car won't move. Few minutes later, no matter how hard I press the gas pedal it won't rev. I called rewired, he scanned the car got just one code (I forgot the code) p1 something. He said the issue is the injector mouth, he ordered one from Ladipo, after fixing it, no improvement at all, he said he needs to use machine to reprogram it. I'm sacred, this guy might mess up my car. Car: Nissan Altima 2008, 2.5s |

Good evening, how is the Infiniti fx45? They said it is a V8 and drinks fuel, but no problem. What I want to know is if it is reliable and will not be breaking down on the road. |

Good evening everyone. My G35 struggles to start and when I rev up in motion, it feels like it’s being dragged (it’s not as responsive). What can be wrong? |
