I think when you used this link, It was still better then. Probably the same ish we had this morning about the code that you felt was easy but the platform has changed. Same with this. Prolly not the same when you applied. Try to create another application for fun. Concate: I really don't think that's a problem.
I just copied from my resume and pasted on the space provided being mindful of the character limit of 100 for each employer.

Good evening guys … please my wife study leave permit just came in from her office and considering we have applied without it , how do we raise a webform to notify the ircc on this latest development Ketima:
Hello Makano,
Nice observation. I only noticed that many seems are eager to try it knowing fully well that that have applied before and will want to try it, after he/she said in 2months, decision can be made. From my own observation, the path was brought up to facilitate family reunification as they termed it so that applications decisions can be made faster. I only observed it was for visit visa, used for people who applied before September 7 mostly SOWP and others who initially applied and would like to join their spouses and family fast fast.
I also noticed that it is super fast for visit visa and any application be it SOWP which was submitted with visiting visa. But when you apply separately for SOWP and others, it may not be that fast. Also noted that, even if you have applied before, you cant link it as it will be a new application and old application fee will be forfeited.
Now back to old days IRCC promises. Sometime ago, IRCC came with a promise that if Nigerians can follow NSE route, application will be decided in 20 days. Now what's the fate of that? Again, sometimes early this year, they came up with another promise that if we can submit complete application before May 15, decision will be made by August 6th to be able to resume class for Sept fall. Now we all know the outcome.
So my brothers and sisters, if you have applied before and because of desperation and anxiousness to receive decision, you want to apply through this one. know it that once you do, your old application will likely be withdrawn and no certainty that you will receive fast decision with it. That A did it and got fast decision doest mean if B should do it, he will receive the same fast decision. Don't throw away the time you have waited so far cos of this. If you haven't applied before, you can use it. You're safe.
Also note that this path have already had many applications and if fast at the moment, may begin to slag as they will likely be paying attention to only visit Visa applicants. I even noted that wen applying for visiting visa through that link, you will state when you want to visit and when you will come back. You think they don't know why the specified it for visiting visa only. They are looking for who will come and boast their economy and not gain from it as you know that visitors spends and don't get from the nation.
This is just my humble observation and may be totally wrong oo. So please just relax ok. 1 Like |

Even for a study Visa, You will state when you will likely leave your country and when you want to return too. Ketima:

Scott99tish: I said it. I know it will be an issue for many people. I almost gave up too but I love solving problems.
Never leave a year out of the 10 years work experience they asked. Let me use myself as an example; 1. Working with A ( Sept 2020 - till date) 2. Worked with B ( Jan 2019 - Sept 2020) 3. Worked with C (Sept 2017 - Jan 2019) 4. NYSC (April 2016 - April 2017) You can see there's a gap between my NYSC before my first job. Secret is You cannot leave any space blank. If you were jobless , tell them. If you were selling, tell them. Something must be there since time cannot be paused.
So what I later did was; 5. Unemployed (April 2017 - Sept 2017) So this will come in before the NYSC to show in between. If you were in school during that 10 years too, Show it there and state it as Unemployed I was in Uni from 2011 - 2015, so I stated the next this way;
6. Unemployed (Nov 2011 - April 2016) Since the Uni has been stated ahead on the form.
That has covered the 10 years. If you leave any month or year out of the 10 years they ask, It will always give ERROR.
I hope I communicated it well.
Regards.
Yeah you did thanks dear |

The breaking of this IRCC portal thing is gold. Aijay26:
My journey to canada started a while ago, i started researching about this journey in 2019 when i was in final year . On the 30th of June I got admitted to MUN for a thesis based masters program.
Then I applied for passport , normal Nigeria hassle now, i waited for 6 weeks. Applied: 9th September Biometrics: 13th September Ppr: 28th October
Documents * Sop: 4 pages , I spoke about my past experiences, my final year project and told them the advancement Canada has in the field of renewable energy. Mind you my research is in renewable energy. I spoke about my supervisor’s research works and what we intend to do. I attached letter of confirmation from my undergraduate professor who was my final year supervisor and also my IT work place. * CV * Transcript * Waec * Certificate * One year tuition fee * Birth certificate and death certificate of family members * Nieces birth certificate * Letter confirming I worked in those places i included in my sop
* PROOF OF FUNDS * Sponsor: * My brother in laws 6months bank statements . With an inflow of 700million and outflow of 600million and a balance of 20KCAD which he deposited for my maintenance. He raised a bank draft to avoid lump sum deposits. And he deposited 500K to my account and made a remake: Study permit application fee. * Affidavit of sponsorship * Letter of sponsorship indicating he raised a bank draft . I submitted this 3 weeks after through webform * CAC certificate * Marriage certificate * Land properties documents Co Sponsor: My brother My brother works in canada, 4 months bank statements of 33KCAD * letter of sponsorship indicating he will sponsor me with 12KCAD yearly * Letter of introduction from his employer * Work permit * Birth certificate * Biweekly payslips Mother: although i didn’t indicate she is my sponsor but i wanted to show them she is established in nigeria. * mother is a director in federal ministry * So i added her promotion letter * Land property documents * 33kCAD pension bank statements. I didn’t add her personal account tho. I added this documents(land property documents and pension BS) on the 26th of October. HOME TIE * I am 23 years old and i no get any thing. I used my sister’s child( i am her godmother) added pictures as proof that i have been her mother ever since her mother( my sister)died during delivery. * I said i am the only surviving daughter and how my mom will take care of my niece * I added my mother’s land property documents TRAVEL HISTORY I do not have any travel history but my family members are well traveled, so I included the following; * brother inlaw visa pages( USA, UK, CANADA, DUBAI, KENYA SCHENGEN) * Mother ( Expired US visa and valid US) * Sister( Expired UK visa, KENYA, DUBAI) Things i did differently: I applied using the IRCC portal not GCkey . For some reasons i couldn’t open a GCKey account and my brother applied over there for me. Things i did differently SPIRITUALLY. I used his words. His word is yes and amen. I am a Christian and I declared it that i will get it
I am a believer and i used his words. I still remember this morning by 5 am i had a dream that I wasn’t approved . I quoted scriptures and countered it.

My people please I need advice.
I have a personal account which I use to do my personal business even though I work in a company and have salary account with them.
Can I use the personal account for visa application knowing fully its not a corporate account.
Note: I use the personal account for buying and selling while my salary account is strictly for my salary |

Though it could strengthen the application, believe in God that your application is a done deal. God has shattered protocols time and again. kokolanre123:
Thank you so much Makano, I already submitted this , I am hoping for a favourable response on the application by God's grace

Your account is excellent if it can show proof of funds enough for at least the first year of your program, the required 10k CAD to cover your living expenses in Canada for one year, and other expenses. I supposed you're self-sponsoring yourself. nairaland1981: My people please I need advice.

The Canada journey started 2017 .. got admission to University of Regina but Dad said the money was much I abandoned it... Fast forward to 2021 I just chip the matter for my papa ear and to my greatest surprise he just told me to try it again but I was just having double mind if I should do it or not... I had to speak with some frds that gave me the morale to push it and today I have my Goodnews. When I saw two messages from IRCC omo fear catch me..I rushed to the portal immediately to check, portal no con gree open I just leave am dey thank God though I had fear in me, after about one hour 30 mins, I checked again while slowly scrolling up with one eye open moving straight to final decision... immediately I saw your application was approved I just started crying, ran straight to my mum and told her the women wan shout ohhh... I just hold her mouth say make she no shout . God of NSPPD, you have shown me Mercy, I am super grateful. Below is screenshot of the table of content on the documents I submitted.. Hello….. Please I need advice on what to do. I have just been admitted to St Clair college for a college diploma of 2years, but a friend advised not to accept it because it will make no sense doing a graduate diploma when I have my BA degree here in Nigeria and also it can lead to visa denial since they know I already have my BA, they might sense I just want to use that as an excuse to leave the country. He advised I do a postgraduate diploma but all I have been seeing is a 1year and what I need is a 2years postgraduate diploma. Please, does anyone have recommendations for colleges that offers a 2years postgraduate diploma in arts and humanities related courses….please I need a quick response |

There are lots of disadvantages applying to a school that doesn't offer PGWP eligible programs. In your best interest, apply to a school that offers PGWP eligible programs.
