Good evening bosses. Please what's the best way to increase ground clearance of a camry 2005? Change the tyre size or raise the car? Tyre size is 205/60/15
I changed my rims from 15 to 16 and tyres to 215/65. Life has been good since then. Same car

You just like arguing. Ask any customs officer or clearing agent, they will tell you duty is never fully paid. Why do you think they collect 1k at every checkpoint? Drive that fully paid duty camry to benin and tell the customs officers you don't have anything to give them because you've fully paid that's when you will know how far grin

Never. The average man is not going to be able to afford the car, especially if it's clean title.

They only pay a reasonable % of the total duty cost.

To start with who's this person? A female or a male.

Inasmuch as i do not support any form of physical violence I wouldn't support any form of disrespect from whosoever.

I can't pass judgment without hearing from both the riders and the driver... But from the video I've watched here the driver took things too far for laying hands on the lady. No matter what he wasn't supposed to do that at all.

I've been in a more severe situation before, 2 or 3 girls if I can remember vividly and I remember sharing the experience here and izzou gave the best advice so should I find myself in such a situation like this again? I'll simply pick up every of my valuable belonging from the car then park in a populated place and then call passers by to come be the judge.

By so doing no one will tell them to leave peacefully.

But if you're a man and you think you can order me around like your house boy I will tell you we are both made with the same materials and with the same 22 veins if I ask you out of my car and you refuse just be ready to see yourself at the middle of 3MD.

waywardpikin:

This guy below got it right.

There is absolutely no reason to lay hands on her. Nigerian youths will protest against #EndSARS and oppression, but at the slightest opportunity will become a tyrant too. Isn't that hypocrisy? If I was a passenger in that driver's cab and I told him as a guy to help me branch make I pick up my Gee on my way to wherever, dem no born am well, he must comply after all it was just a simple request. But because it is a lady and he most likely harbors certain prejudices, the next resort is to lay hands. It's wrong man. Any advantage he may have had disappears once violence comes into play.

But of course, this is mature talk and Nairaland is more about the juvenile delinquency so I totally understand.

Just imagine the manner you talk at the bolded... Pray never to enter my Mercedes benz and misbehave na wheel spinner and paper spray I go take show u something then carry you put inside boot straight to Area F.
The next time you order a ride and you see felicity001 is your driver you go cancel straight off your phone join.

Lolz... Baba, U don't know me. I started importing and clearing cars since around 2005. I don't have business with customs, never had issue with them. Na only police I dey sort just to fulfil all righteousness.
If I tell u full duty paid, forget, it is full duty paid. How much is duty for a 10-15 year old car that I want to cut corners for. Even when I buy a car in Nigeria, I know how to check if full duty was paid, and I check it before I carry my hand go buy wahala.
I don't know wat u mean by duty is never fully paid, if na bribe on d side that's a different thing, but if they tell u duty for a 2005 corolla is 650k and u pay it to d bank, they give u reciept and all ur forms, don't let any thief in customs uniform on d road tell u, u didn't pay ur duty complete.
In any case if u don't pay complete duty, u think it's 1k they will collect from u at checkpoint in Badagry or Sagam or Ore, or Benin...?? In ur dreams.

My problem sometimes is with people speaking generally about issues which they have just a personal experience of.
So u will not be able to afford a 2005 Car if full duty is paid? Or are u talking about a 2015 car?

I dragged you mainly because 80-90% here ate drivers so I want them to get to know you better so that whenever they carry someone like you on either bolt or Uber and the guy portray the kind of mentality as i bolded up there then they'd knew you're the one then we shall know who them born him papa well pass.

Didn't you listen to yourself or use your tongue to count your teeth before said that nonsense you posted? And you even called it a simply request.

You ordered a ride and then tell me to stop to pick up your guy? Which guy? Oga is yiur guy that broke that he can't order his own ride? Or are you that broke to do video chat with him if gist is what you guys want to do on a 10-15min trip? Oh I get it! He scammed a driver and Bolt blocked himgrin no wonder he can't request for himself or he's a village champ that don't know how to use the app. One sorry is your second name.

Now you know you stated your piece right, but you went annoyed venting your anger on the whole of NLers calling them juvenile just because a few didn't stand with you in your summision right? Tell me who's more juvenile here now.

Mr. Adult learn to respect people's decision okay, if you order a ride and the driver said he's had enough and ask you to leave his car pay him what you feel like and then order another.

Vent your anger by reporting to the app company for proper resolution rather than making a fool of yourself or show of power you do not have.
