I won't be surprised if Nwakali Brothers made AFCON List, if Amunike is hired though. 3 Likes |

forgiveness: Keshi won the 2013 AFCON with below average players, did anybody die? Sometimes, no be ingredients dey make food sweet, na the cook wey sabi mix am dey do the magic. I don't care the type of players that are assembled, I care for the type of football that will be played, and that is the only thing that should concern you if you were a true Super Eagles fan. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Kog45: There are many reasons why Onyeka should start alongside Ndidi. Notable among the reasons are: Winning the ball in advanced areas of the pitch In Onyeka plying a more outfield position as a central midfielder we are guaranteed winning the ball in more advanced areas of the pitch. This will give our forwards more opportunities and orientation to express themselves. Since we have found it difficult in many instances of it, to transition seamlessly from defense to attack, winning the ball further up the pitch could prove a viable solution to the paucity in goals we are in. Direct play Frank Onyeka has more forward passes in his locker than many of our midfielders in recent times. The momentum he provides going forward with forward passes makes him a slots him well in central midfield. He takes a lot of risks. Good reading of the game. Frank Onyeka's reading of the game is very impressive. Besides Ndidi, no other midfielder in recent times reads the game better. Insane work rate No player in the current crop has Frank Onyeka's work rate, only Victor Osimhen comes close. The central midfield is fulcrum to how a team plays and ergo demands a lot of input. If you have noticed, our midfield lacks presence and this has been worse in Etebo's absence. What the midfield lacks in creativity, Etebo made up in work rate. Frank Onyeka has even more to give you in work rate. As far as i am concerned the central midfield spot is still vacant, but Frank Onyeka is the only player who has more to give than any other as things stands. |

I don't even think you people realise how low Super Eagles have fallen, that is why some of you are still concerning yourselves with frivolities on this matter. Keshi sparked a resurgence in the excitement for Nigerian football, people wanted to watch the team play, people were excited to see the team play. Rohr has dragged us back to woeful times, although, in his defense, the likes of Oliseh started the decline. Today, no channel of repute will show even our World Cup Qualifying games and no Nigerian is concerned. We are back to the trenches, and it is a travesty considering all of the exciting talent we have on display. A TRAVESTY 13 Likes |

forgiveness: As long as bigotry is concerned, Buhari is even better than you. Were you not the same person that openly called Keshi's team a Biafran team back in 2013, and also withdrew your support as you were wishing them failure at the AFCON? Abi you think say we dun forget? 9 Likes 1 Share |

TFLASHOGEE: It is not whether he can cope. Amunike has to cope. The only way is to play possession/offensive football on a high scale. Get the players causing fear to oppositions. Play the ball in the opposition's half. Deal with counters. etc. He has to welcome the challenge and pressure to grow. |

safarigirl: Nah.... that should never happen dear. We need Players plying their Trades with top Teams in Europe. Enough of Mediocrity. So far, Eagles is declining in Quality. We don't have a Player worthy to compete for Best African Player. It has gotten so bad, but we're ignoring in the name of building a new Generation of Stars. If you're not playing for top Team in Europe, forget Super Eagles. We should rather assemble home-based Team, from Academies, follow thegoodjoe methods and be hopeful of their success. 4 Likes 1 Share |

charlesemeka85: We do have the components to play it to the fullest. It takes a manager that knows, understands, trained, and played the system. It takes a manager that can sort the players and pick those that ideally suits it. It lies with the manager creating the right template, making the right selection and training the team to play that way. Why do you think our team is littered with so many offensive players? We are built to play in an offensive fashion. 2 Likes |
