Actually, I kicked against Oliseh but I believe he was capable of doing the job. He was frustrated and the NFF knows it.

Frustrated? Let's be real bro, Oliseh is extremely overrated. He lost dressing Room in just few Weeks in charge. Where is Onobi or whatever he's forcing down our Throats today? Imagine how he treated Enyeama?

Tactically he offers nothing unusual or outstanding. He's fuckin average!

I can not call a coach average until he gets a fair run. Losing the locker room came with the pressure of getting the job. There was huge politics behind the scene.

I doubt Oliseh ever had a problem with Enyeama. Those that gave him the job (NFF) wanted Enyeama out. As for Onobi, if the coach honestly believes in the player, we can not over critique it.

Look at Michael Babatunde under Keshi. He was brilliant but after Keshi, we never heard of him. Aaron Samuel was sharp under Keshi and was never instrumental to the team after Keshi. Same with Sone Aluko when he got his chance.

Does this make the coach's callup for them bad?

I believe with no doubt if Oliseh is given a free hand and run, he will do well. I insist on Amunike because I know he is more trained on the tactical side of things and I believe tactics is King.

It is a brand. It is a tradition. The Catalans and those affiliated to it are trained in a particular way. We need someone who has been exposed to such depth of details and tactics to coach our team. And, Amunike has it.

I agree with you 100 percent. The tradition was introduced by their idol coach, Pep's mentor, I've forgotten his name.

Yes, Juan Cruyff. That's his name.

I won't be surprised if Nwakali Brothers made AFCON List, if Amunike is hired though.

Nations that the Super Eagles may need to avoid in the play-offs
News Hub Creator
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the playoff face of the World Cup tournament. But the battle is still on because only five out of ten teams will represent the continent in Qatar 2022.

Here are two nations that the Super Eagles may want to avoid in the playoff stage.

1. Egypt: It might be difficult for the Super Eagles if they are facing Egypt because the Super Eagles have defeated Egypt just once in their last seven encounters across all competitions. Furthermore, the pharaohs have not been defeated since 2019, which implies that they've been unbeaten in their last fifteen games. This is a strong edge that the Pharaohs have over the Super Eagles, who are currently struggling to maintain their consistency.

2. Ghana: the black stars of Ghana are one of the teams that could upset the Super Eagles because old records show that Nigeria has failed to defeat Ghana in their last four encounters across all competitions. Furthermore, the black stars haven't been defeated at home since 2019. So, it might be difficult for the Super Eagles if they are drawn against Ghana.

In conclusion, I think the Super Eagles could defeat Cameroon because their results against the indomitable lions over the years have been impressive.

Nah.... that should never happen dear. We need Players plying their Trades with top Teams in Europe.

Enough of Mediocrity. So far, Eagles is declining in Quality. We don't have a Player worthy to compete for Best African Player. It has gotten so bad, but we're ignoring in the name of building a new Generation of Stars.

If you're not playing for top Team in Europe, forget Super Eagles. We should rather assemble home-based Team, from Academies, follow thegoodjoe methods and be hopeful of their success.

Omo, Osimhen is worthy to compete O

Me I don't know about this one you are saying

No point in top players if na rubbish dem dey play.

Make una calm down first, because we fit no dey the Top 5 by December 18th

Apparently, Egypt is set to feature in an Arab Cup tournament that is acknowledged by FIFA, if they do well there, they could very well unseat Nigeria from that Top 5

Ppogbae has already done the breakdown. Based on the results Egypt and Nigeria got this past window the Pharaohs are unlikely to get the required number of points to shift us out of 5th place in Africa. Plus the November rankings are what will be used for the draws.

It is obvious the author hasn't watched the other teams' matches. Mali is more dangerous than these two

This is news to me. All accounts regarding indiscipline in the 1994 squad have never really fingered him as a culprit besides he was a newbie in the group he couldn't be stearing up trouble when their were so many senior men in the squad.

I shock oo. Never heard Amunike associated with any untoward scheme in SE even during the heydays of SE mafia, he seemed only to want to play his game without getting involved in the politics

Osimhen is work in progress dear. He's destined for the top. He's hardworking and fantastically doing well for himself professionally at the moment. Yes..... he's worthy Young African Footballer of the Year.

We need Players playing for top Teams in Europe. Even Ivory Coast have 2 Players at Manchester United. Senegal Players are mostly playing for top Clubs in Europe.

They're Winners, the mentality to compete for Trophy is there already. Thanks to Leicester, at least we are proud two of our Players won a Trophy in top League.

Pinnick has Nigeria by the jugular

Only an insane person will renew a contract with the low grade coach like Rohr with a $2M buy out clause especially with the terrible display at the world cup. We had the high ground to negotiate a deal that would favour us considering he didn't particularly do well, but they instead give him $40k monthly with a $2M buyout. They are obviously using the guy to cash out

Keshi won the 2013 AFCON with below average players, did anybody die?

Sometimes, no be ingredients dey make food sweet, na the cook wey sabi mix am dey do the magic.

I don't care the type of players that are assembled, I care for the type of football that will be played, and that is the only thing that should concern you if you were a true Super Eagles fan.

There were many good players in the starting 11. From world class Enyeama to Mikel Obi to Vicmo, Onazi, Emenike, Brown Ideye, Echiejile, Ike Uche etc.

And I can tell you it was when he started playing these players we started winning matches after he failed to market some players in the first two matches in group stage where we struggled and almost went out of the tournament.

Besides, the individual brilliance of Vicmo in all the matches he played brought great changes to the team not Keshi’s pattern of play which was long ball and insha
