People been shouting "Amuneke is corrupt", all day,but nobody seems to have dropped any kind of proof to back up their claim.... I mean proof of Amuneke collecting bribes or being accused of such by his players...

Some people are okay with Rohr selecting players who have no business with the team (Musa, Shehu, Simon), but aren't okay with Amuneke coaching the super eagles...

There were many good players in the starting 11. From world class Enyeama to Mikel Obi to Vicmo, Onazi, Emenike, Brown Ideye, Echiejile, Ike Uche etc.

And I can tell you it was when he started playing these players we started winning matches after he failed to market some players in the first two matches in group stage where we struggled and almost went out of the tournament.

Besides, the individual brilliance of Vicmo in all the matches he played brought great changes to the team not Keshi’s pattern of play which was long ball and insha

If we sack Ror and decide to stick to a foreign Coach, he would be my ideal Coach going forward. However, if we decide to go for a local Coach, Amuneke should do.

He doesn't

Pinnick has Nigeria by the jugular

Only an insane person will renew a contract with the low grade coach like Rohr with a $2M buy out clause especially with the terrible display at the world cup. We had the high ground to negotiate a deal that would favour us considering he didn't particularly do well, but they instead give him $40k monthly with a $2M buyout. They are obviously using the guy to cash out

I don't think Pinnick ever had much interest in developing our football... His NFF administration hardly ever get it right with appointment of coaches to the national team.. Look at the super falcons..

Now Rohr has the higher ground... I don't think he will willing resign.. There was some reports back then that he claim he wasn't coaching the super eagles for money, because he has a hotel he manages,lol... Na human being him be...

Lol pinnick knows what he's doing cheesy the reason that clause was inserted is because pinnick will likely get 50% of that money cheesy now federal will have no options than to pay the money because of the outcry

Do you mean the 2 spare tires in Man Utd for CIV, Traore and Bailly?

Omeruo was once signed by Chelsea, how many Matches he played with first Team? Any Trophy won while he's at the Club?

At what Age Amad signed for United? At what Age Nwakali Brothers signed for Man City and Arsenal respectively? Did any of them play for first Team?

Awoniyi signed for Liverpool. How many times he played for the Club?! At least both Bailly and Amad are parts of first Team and Bailly has played some matches for the Club.

KPOM!

My only concern is the NFF bringing us another clueless coach especially someone like Daniel Amokachie or some foreign journeyman coach.

Right now, I think Emmanuel Amuneke is the right person to takeover the team. And they better fire him right away if they wanna get rid of him. That will give the new coach a few months before the next international break and AFCON to come up with his program for the team. Don’t wait until two weeks before AFCON to change coaches.

As a matter of fact, they have left it too late already. Rohr should’ve been fired on the day we lost to Argentina.

I don't even think you people realise how low Super Eagles have fallen, that is why some of you are still concerning yourselves with frivolities on this matter.

Keshi sparked a resurgence in the excitement for Nigerian football, people wanted to watch the team play, people were excited to see the team play.

Rohr has dragged us back to woeful times, although, in his defense, the likes of Oliseh started the decline. Today, no channel of repute will show even our World Cup Qualifying games and no Nigerian is concerned.

We are back to the trenches, and it is a travesty considering all of the exciting talent we have on display.

A TRAVESTY

Keshi success was fluke and was due to individual brilliance of Vicmo from the Match against Ethiopia. Before then, we struggled to win the two matches . Facts

You and Chriskel are grasping at straws. You can keep entertaining yourself.

Amuneke isn't exactly the right man for the job..But he is the best choice available at the moment... If the NFF want to appoint a foreign coach now, they will most likely go for another mow budget journeyman like Rohr..the kind of coaches that left their comfort zones in Europe to milk off African countries who have carried the mentality that everything white is better..The coaches that can't boost of any credible trophies in their CV... It won't benefit us in the long run... That's where Amuneke comes in... He has proven that he is tactically sound, and also understand our football well, being an ex international himself...

In Tanzania...sacked. In Sudan.....sacked. In Egypt.....sacked. shocked

Emmanuel Amunike sacked as Al Khartoum coach

Dahab Elkady Dahab Elkady

Emmanuel Amunike
Al Khartoum National Club

Former Nigeria winger Emmanuel Amunike has been sacked as coach of Sudanese side Al Khartoum SC following a string of bad results.
The former manager of Nigeria U20 joined Al Khartoum in November on a one-year deal. He had some fine results in the pre-season matches but his side have later shown poor performances on the field as they gained just 11 points from eight matches in the Sudanese Premier League.

The sacking came after a 1-3 loss against the newly promoted team Ahli Meroe, which led the club to terminate the contract with the Nigerian coach. The Al Khartoum-based side now stand fourth on the league table while Ahli Meroe hold the second spot in the league below leaders Merreikh Al-Fasher.

The former Zamalek legend previously led Nigeria to the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup title. He played for Zamalek from 1991-1994 before moving to Portuguese side Sporting CP and later FC Barcelona and represented Nigeria in the 1994 World Cup – the first time Nigeria appeared in the competition

He showed his mettle when he took a hapless Tanzanian team to AFCON. When last did Tanzania qualified for AFCON before Amuneke? And where’s the team after he resigned?

To me, Amuneke will perform wonders if given a young and talented team like Nigeria. Don’t forget how well his U-17 and U21 teams played.

Emenike was at his best
Sunday Mba was very helpful

Those ones no follow. Its always Vic moses single handedly won the Afcon. The same Afcon the commentators were saying "Whenever Mikel plays, Nigeria plays" Rather put, Our MF won us the Afcon cos they clicked at the right time. Keshi got the combo by removing Nosa for Mba and pulling Ogude out for Onazi.
