Dem plenty wey go jump into the offer to coach a well renowned and respected team like the super eagles |

forgiveness: Let me answer this like my opinion actually matters First of all I love me some Manu Garba and Emmanuel Amunike but the answer to this question is Gbenga Ogunbote. His teams play good football and defend well. Plus he is very good with strikers and skilled forwards. Really he turns no names into household names. How I wish u guys watched Sunday Adetunji when he was with Gbenga compared to what he plays now. His record in CAF is even good and BTW he never had a top team, even when he qualified Enyimba for CAF he was fired. I have followed him from his last stint at enyimba and the man has over achieved with almost every team he has coached. At Enyimba he was coaching them on an horrendous Calabar pitch but they still managed to play good football. In a perfect world the Oracle would definitely be on the list of coaches to be looked at. 8 Likes 1 Share

Danielnino00: Who else then? Give an Example. If indeed Amuneke is tactically sound why did he fail at Club sides?! He managed Julius Berger and Ocean Boys before he took charge of U17. What did he achieve with both local Clubs? He managed a Sudanese and an Egyptian Clubs as well, how did he perform with both Clubs?! |

Oasis001: Okay.. So,since you are so fixated on his failure at club sides, can we switch over to the real focus here; The super eagles?.. The super eagles isn't a club... So,since he hasn't failed yet with a national team, we should assume (based on the analogy you are trying to use) that he won't fail with the super eagles too... |

charlesemeka85: After two matches. Amunike Is Sacked By Egyptian Club March 1, 20200 view 0 Emmanuel Amunike has been sacked by Egyptian side Misr El-Makkasa and replaced with Ehab Galal who returns for a second stint at the club. Amunike led the team in two games, drawing them both against Smouha and Entag El-Harby, and now he will depart the club after a very short spell. The former coach of the Tanzania national team spent less than a month on the job. El-Makkasa preferred to reappoint Galal, who is considered to be the club’s most successful manager since their promotion to the top tier in 2009. Galal coached El-Makkasa between 2014 and 2017, leading the team to finish second in the league in 2017, which secured them a spot in the CAF Champions League for the first time in the club’s history. He then departed the club to join ENPPI, before signing for Zamalek, Al Ahly Tripoli, and finally Al Masry. El-Makkasa is having a really disappointing season as they currently sit 16th on the league table with 14 points from 17 games, just three away from bottom-placed FC Masr. They were also knocked out of the Egypt Cup in the round of 16 by El-Gaish. 1 Like |

Danielnino00:Sincerely Amuneke record as a coach damn too poor to handle eagles but talking about his tactical awareness which am not really sure of cos I can only rate him with underage team. I remember Keshi coached Mali and qualified Togo to first ever WC before gotten Nigeria job and he did well. My major question why is Amuneke jobless all this while...why our ex internationals always waiting for national team jobs though Amuneke started well initially by getting Tanzania job, coached in Sudan and Egypt but damn too poor of him staying out of the job for so long...why not manage any NPFL team just like what Finidi is doing presently with Enyimba. No matter how we criticized Keshi,I still respect him for going out there to prove himself before taking Nigeria job....our local coaches should try and make something outside.I remember Amodu in South Africa,Onigbinde had a stint with Trinidad and Tobago as a technical adviser to all their football matter,Ndubuisi Egbo did well too,Mike Obiku is doing something with Feyenood youth team,Seyi Olofinjana with Wolves youth team. It could have been credible if Emma Amuneke is handling a team even in NPFL presently. 8 Likes |

Danielnino00: Fine.... let's talk about his national team experience at senior level. He qualified Tanzania for their first ever AFCON, fantastic! How did perform at the Tournament?! Senegal first ever World Cup Experience was in 2002 and they moved beyond Group Stage. Iceland qualified for their first ever EURO in 2016, and they lost to eventual Winner at Quarter Final Stage. How many Points Tanzania got at Group Stage before they bowed out disgracefully? |

Kog45: Big man , I have monitored Amunike's team at U17 , National team side and clubside and what I discovered is his tactical awareness. Here is a coach who is not afraid to unleash his attacking monsters on any team. The findings are that Amunike is an attack oriented coach which suits us and he can grow from there because you never stop learning as a coach. Like Bascovanveli pointed out Amakapabo and Ogunbote are also very sound but I know they aren't likely to get a look in. 1 Like |
