Buhari comments shows he is finding a way to avoid being trapped further in this whole saga. He knows eventually, whether there are discrepancy or not, the bone of contention that people were actually shot and killed by security personnels would be established.

Him trying to wait for the entire panels set up by all states to be concluded is a tactic to avoid a situation where the presidency has admit it's flaws in handling the lekki event.
