its likely d blood is outside ur VJ n not inside.... Probably u scratch ursef unknowingly... It happens ... Tnk God nothing is wrong.. Oluwaseun ooo!!!!

baby breech positn isnt smtin 2 worry about at 28weeks... Worry abt d diabetes n since u r in d hospital 4 treatment... U will b fine eventually by God's grace... Just rest fine n put ur mind at rest.

The trick of avoiding nausea... NEVER STAY HUNGRY ... At 5wks, eat watever u wanna eat... Just stay away frm sugar or carbonated drinks... Eat healthy, stay healthy, practice good hygiene n start taking ur folic acid.

If you use net for your own bed, I think you can lay her with you but to prevent lying on her, let her continue in her bed till she starts rejecting it herself by crying when you lay her in it

I got married in 2016 Dec, finally conceived in Jan 2018 at 5 months I started spotting and was told my membrane was down and cervix dilated. Had an emergency cerclage placed in but didn't do much for me as I fell into labor and delivered my baby at 6 months. Baby didn't live past 5 days in d incubator. Worst situation of my life

I discovered I was pregnant march this year and I and hubby where elated and overjoyed. At 14 weeks I had a cerclage placed in as a preventative measure. Had nausea without much vomiting in d first trimester. Pregnancy was pretty smooth except for the pain I feel in my vjay muscles from the first month of the pregnancy till the day I delivered.

Last week Friday I went for antenantal and complained to the doctor of not feeling my baby's movement as it usually was. When my gynea saw the scan result I was asked to do he said my baby is fine and okay in d womb but cos I'm worried and anxious cos of the reduction in movement which is due to the size of my baby, I should be induced that same day. So by 5pm I was back in the hospital with my hospital bag and a heart filled with joy that I would meet my son soon.

At 7pm a folley balloon was placed inside of me to induce labor. I still didn't feel any contraction and felt it had failed. By 6 am I was told to come along with the nurses to the labor ward. They also took another induced lady with us. Doctors came and checked on me and said I was 4cm dilated. I was like whaaaaaaa and I'm not feeling any contraction? They injected my iv fluid with something and I started feeling little contractions. My water was broken few minutes later and the contractions became super heavy. My labor and delivery lasted 2hrs 8 a n to 10. 03 am. Had very small tear giving to me by one of the nurses.

I thank God for giving me a quick labour and a healthy handsome big boy!

1. Hope 18 weeks is not too late to register for ANC for a first timer?
2. What are the tests done when registering for the first time?
3. I've heard a lot about 2nd Tri MCs (it won't be our portion in Jesus name) and the use of cerclage, how is it detected to know cerclage is needed and how can it be prevented?

Number 1, 18 weeks is not early, I started mine at 12 weeks

The hospital will tell you if you do do Scan and other tests will follow when you Register with them

If you are lactose intolerant or milk makes you constipated my dear just avoid it, cos it can make you bloated and worsen your indigestion/constipation. Milk substitute I use was almond milk and soy milk during my 1st tri. Regular milk was a no-no for me.

Try fresh ginger tea, take lots and lots of water in whatever version you can tolerate, ( I could only take freezing cold if system changes warm, but room temperature made me feel sick) eat fruits to ease the constipation avoid pineapple, Berries and pawpaw, as it causes contraction and pelvic pain for some like myself

Eat in bits and take alot of water, never wait till you are hungry before eating it exacerbates nausea, rest rest and rest, it will make you feel better, your body is doing alot growing a human being so pamper it.

Pele before you know it, you are in 2nd tri and balling

2. Test dt r done are blood test to check ur iron level, ur blood pressure will b checked, ur weight n lastly ur urine will b tested 4 infection
3. We will never experience dis ooo... Godforbide... People dt ve gone through previous miscarriages go 4 dis cerclage n people with short or low cervix go 4 cerclage to prevent miscarriage... Low cervix is diagose by having travaginal scan done at 20weeks scan to measure d length of the cervix... If d cervix is short then cerclage will b done asap to prevent story dt touch d heart.
