I sent additional document via webform and this was the message I got. Does this mean they have received the document or am I to also get a personal acknowledgment message from them in my email?

The attached is confirmation your doc has been sent..

Most times they acknowledge but other times they dont but does mean they havent received it.

You might resend after a day to be sure.

Whoa, this is good news!
Your timeline is similar to mine: May 9, 2021. I'm glad the long and tortuous wait has finally ended for you, as I hope that mine ends soonest.

Meanwhile, were there some especial things you did while waiting for your approval?

Congratulations!

Conatcted an MP at some point and was bombarding them with mails when the application started taking too long.

I am not a pro on this matter but I did a little research on it. So for those asking if you can use one-way ticket for PTA, please read this from Sterling Bank's website.

And please, if you have first hand information on this, do well to share.

Its only your friend who is the designated representative can send a mail to atip..

If you send with your own email, they will not respond to you..

this however is their email. IRCC.ATIP-AIPRP.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

Thanks. After sending an email to the bolded above, I got a failure delivery response. It seems I'd have to tell my friend to contact them on behalf of me.

Good evening everyone. Canada just announced new border regulations starting from November 30. As from January 15, international students must be vaccinated to be allowed entry into Canada. Kindly take note.

Though it could strengthen the application, believe in God that your application is a done deal. God has shattered protocols time and again.

I have equally taken that measure here. The office of the MP I contacted had to call the IRCC to do an inquiry about the status of my application. And they told me that I had passed the medicals and criminality check; that there was nothing else required of me; that I now would have to wait for their final decision on my application. He also mentioned that I might require an interview, even though such a decision was yet to be taken as at when I got the feedback from them.

My application is running into its seventh(7th) month now. I'm simply tired of this endless wait. Just imagine how big a child born seven months ago would have grown by now.

Meanwhile, I had also written the IRCC on different occasions to appeal for the swift processing of my application. However, I was asked to respectfully withhold spending further emails, as they had already received all my emails; that further messages about that would not be responded to; that they would get back to me if they require further details.

So, I come kukuma chillax somehow since I got that email from them ooo.

God no go shame me!

Goodday sir, I will like to ask some few questions regarding the covid-19 test.
1) for we that are yet to travel how can we get fully vaccinated. If you can help shed more light on it sir.

2)In order to prevent being delayed and spending unnecessary money at the airport regarding the covid-19 test what can be done before travelling,

3) how can we avoid the 14 days quarantine.

Thank sir as I will be anticipating your positive response sir.

Good evening all, please I need your guidance. I am about to apply to Universities in Canada for my masters degree. My plan is to apply for a post graduate course in Economics at the university of Manitoba next week.
For my planned year for the commencement of study, please I need your guidance on the year to pick, can I proceed to pick September 2022 as my start date for the program considering the processes and the lot of time involved in getting a Visa after getting an admission.

Please I need you all advice and suggestions many thanks.

Hi Lianna. I wanted to ask about my 6 years old son passport stamping process . What I did was I only added his passport and approval letter along with my own documents In same envelope to Abuja.
I didn’t pay his transmission fee.
I tracked my parcel and I saw that it was rejected in Abuja . I really do not know why . I need you to advice me on the right document to send for his passport to be stamped ..thanks
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Akannitommy: 1:50am On Nov 20, 2021
Sorry to hear about this. I think you are required to pay transmission fee for each passport sent except the one for main applicant (or anyone) who is sending to same office where biometric was done recently. I suggest that you pay the transmission fee and contact VFS via email quoting your package reference # in the subject line. After you do this, may be try follow-up with a phone call and/or web chat to the VFS pleading that they verify payment and send your package to the Embassy. If you did biometric in Lagos or before submitting visa application then you will need to pay for your own transmission fee too. It is advisable you always do 2-way courier service when sending package to the embassy. If your parcel was rejected in Abuja and you didn't pay for 2-way courier I expect that they should ideally contact you by email asking for the missing items or asking for you to pay the in-house courier fee so they can return you document un-stamped.

Please someone should help me to clarify this.
I am applying for a Canadian visa for the second time. Do I need to write both a statement of purpose and a letter of explanation or just a letter of explanation instead of a statement of purpose.
Thanks.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Lianna2020: 2:51am On Nov 20, 2021
I did same as well during my time, we paid the 8920 for my husband and included his passport and PPR letter and it was both stamped.
We also paid for two way courier , did you pay for two way courier?

I’m surprised here as well.

Sorry I don’t know why I’m not receiving emails from here.
