It’s true
I totally forgot about the corrupt angle lol
You’re right about NFF

I agree with most of what you put down
In Keshi’s time, I heard he was 100% in charge of the team. He had disagreements with NFF which lead to his sack. I don’t think his sack was based on performance
In summary, let’s see European based Eagles performance in January

What do you think about Herve Renard the Saudi coach ?
I doubt nff will be able to pay such
His salary would probably be double that of Rohr’s

We need look away from Renard he is not available the Saudi team is not one a coach will like to stay because of the money but also they're ambitious team considering their dominance in Asia tourney and also Arab cup competition forget the fact that they barely do well in world cups even Nigeria Is in same category so for now we need look away from Renard

Let us cast out net elsewhere in Netherlands/Spain/South America

We can get good coaches there

not really seen them play but they scored just 3 goals during this qualifying series although they conceded just 2

Oscar tabarez is now free we.can approach him
Although old,but still a very good coach cool

I am not even making a case for development here. The job of a national team coach is to get the best team possible for the super eagles however possible. If it means exploring options in Nigeria, then he has to. I agree that Europe has better pitches and training facilities just the same way they have better schools and laboratories, it doesn't automatically mean that training in Europe is the only metric for success. I'll never subscribe to the "it has to be white to be right" thinking.

I am so sure that players like Onyedika, Onyeka, Ndidi,Amoo, Nacho and many others would have been wallowing obscurity and under developed skill sets if they had not travelled abroad...

Nigeria system kill dreams and talents bro.
It does not help u develop or grow your potential and such become stunted or suffer deficit growth...

Many of our NPFL players can barely do well in standard league abroad because they were not schooled in the basics of football thats why It is easier for our academy players to adjust and learn even at that it takes time for them to aclimatise

cheesy grin grin anybody that watched that mexico friendly and think our league has carpenters that could displace anyone in the current national team Squad is a clown league wey know get resume date or even proper structure grin grin grin South gate doesn't even have a single player he scouted or groomed but he goes to watch every single important matches of the week to see players that fits his style of play and can do well even with the pool of talent's available in the epl big team's he still picks Aston villa and leed's player's doing well can our national team coach go pick a player in the Npfl that isn't even in action currently wink

The rohr I know won't pick an NPFL player for the super eagles if he is fully incharge
He does it to please some folks in the NFF.
That man is a very conservative coach that is so scared of failure because he does not know how to achieve success

Just forget it though he has tried in visiting some Nigeria players based in Europe going to see them...but he needs to do more as regard tactics and how the team play

Seems VicMoses actually left for a reason, and look no further than Rohr's tactics

Victor Moses: "if you look at our quality in Nigeria, I believe we shouldn't be playing this poor. I am not criticizing the head coach. But we are more like Manchester united at the moment"

oga, two different things. I am not against Egbo. I only said expect him to invite players from farmers league as well.
I remember very well he said something of that nature when he was still coach of Tirana.

@Oasis001, forgiveness...

Okay I must have read this from ANS back then.

"Any player can be called up from any league, I lost my spot in the national team when I moved to Albania because the coaches see it as a small league, they don't know how developed and massive it is."

"There are Nigerian strikers doing well in Albania, Kyrian Nwabueze who has an American passport was the top scorer in the league before he got injured, so you have a lot of them wondering why they are not invited.

"They should be invited because they are good players and should be given an opportunity."

Egbo added : "I believe Ngoo is good enough for the national team, he played in the Liverpool Academy with Raheem Sterling.

"He has the experience and grew up in a good environment, he is tall, almost two meters, very strong, good one vs one. We have to give every citizen a chance."

take a look at the country as a whole and tell me what we have gained with quota system. Quota system is just a way to promote mediocrity. The few home based players Rohr invited, immediately that get to play a couple of minutes they are off to some obscure league, do you want the coach to drop them since they aren’t local based anymore and pick another set of players? Is that a way to build a team? Besides, the ones keshi used what have the Supereagles or the NPFL gained? Please name one of the home based player that keshi used and you think still deserve a bit of playing time
2013 that’s a long time in football
I only remember Oboabona & Sunday Mba back then

I've always had problem with Soumare's positioning.

When Ndidi bombed forward to join the press, he should have been disciplined and cover for him. Instead he followed, and wise man Kante just dropped into the empty space.

See how much Kante travelled without intervention.

I'm surprised that Ndidi is the one tasked with connecting defence to midfield in Tielemans' absent.

It's not about Soumare's positioning, he is a defensively minded midfielder so he is attracted to the position Ndidi takes, the problem is lack of communication so when one is aggressive one sits back, Ndidi had the same problem with Mendy

Football is all about movement. Chelsea wing backs are better on the ball and their movement is opening up the midfield for Kante and Odoi to run into. Chelsea and Leicester are playing the 352 with the right set of players. The quality of the wing backs is the difference. Unlike Rohr!
