BRAVE MOVE: Pastor tackles man with gun during Sunday service.


"Heroic actions” of a Tennessee pastor who tackled a man waving and pointing a gun during a service “saved a church from further violence,” police said.

Video shows a Nashville pastor tackle a man waving a gun during a service at the Nashville Light Mission Pentecostal Church.

The 26-year-old man pulled a gun as the pastor was praying with several people at the altar and told everyone to get up as he waved and pointed the gun at the congregation, police said.

The pastor tackled the man and then several church members helped to disarm and hold him until officers arrived, the statement said.

He was charged with 15 counts of felony aggravated assault, police said.

According to CDC report, not less than 361people are being shot every day in the US. the real question atm is, why is the US still not rated amongst the world unsafe country?? no matter how worse security situation is in Nigeria 2527 persons cannot be shot dead weekly in Nigeria

This is proof no place is safe. Even inside a church in the USA, you could be sent to meet your Maker by a gunman or something else. So even if you like, run from Nigeria, run from Africa, you can't hide from death. It's inevitable.

I was already going this route but I decided to take a different one. I wanted to ask how many times we heard of such in the course of a church service in Nigeria, but of course, it's seems like Nigerians have been programmed to be blind to anything good thing about this nation, but to clearly see the bad ones. Things are very difficult, I know, but the exaggeration is mind-boggling.
