You really don't know what you are saying. Google is your friend. In 2020, 21,570 American were murdered. That gives an average of 415 persons weekly. I don't know where you get your facts from.
Nigeria does not have good data of murder rates but ifor you do some research, you would find out that in 2016, at least 60,000 Nigerian were murdered. That's about 3 times the American rate.

Why would Nigeria or any other country have more people shot than the US? Before we get it twisted... let's not believe that people countrywide are walking around strapped.... individual States have their own firearm laws. E.g ... in Kansas people walk around with gun in holster like in cowboy movies ... that's legal... but in New York State it is sooo difficult to get a permit to own a firearm ... even if you own a big business. Should you be caught in possession of a firearm it is mandatory imprisonment. Almost every shooting/crime is on record ... the reason these stats are available. Owning a firearm in Nigeria is pretty much illegal..... yet we have some carrying guns.. AKs openly .... going on killing sprees ... anytime anywhere ... weekly massacres... which is now considered normal. No investigations ... no charges ... no convictions . Not that many shootings because guns are not widely available... but what about stabbings and chopping? Should these crimes be recorded how safe would Nigeria be according to the records? This guy did not fire the weapon ... in a State where almost any adult can own a gun.... but yet he is facing 15 charges. With all the crime reported... the US is pretty much safe.... much safer than you would think.
