Hello please I am new her, I am not yet familiar with all there abbreviations I am seeing. What is the meaning of Visum, AD, AM etc. and again must I use IELTS? Can’t I use the English Language in my WAEC certificate? Thanx as you reply.

AD is appointment date at the Embassy for interview.
AM is approval mail or visa approved.
You must not use IELTS but a provisional certificate from your university admitting your Proficiency and learning in English is ok for most schools. I don't know about WAEC

If you are a PhD student, you belong to cat A

If you graduated with a first class in your Bachelor’s degree within the last two years, you belong to CAT A

If you have a German or EU govt funded scholarship, then you belong to cat A.

Else you belong to cat B.

Please what if you graduated with two first class degrees 7 years (one from a European University and the other from an Asian University), what category would you fall under?

Because the system resets every April and November , so I got a mail from the embassy saying they’ve cancelled my application for appointment and reapplied again.

Alright, but wait, if the system resets every November, how would I know if my booking was cancelled. I'm asking again because I booked this November, on the 12th, to be exact.

Hi all, my question is that if l have a MSc admission with my 2.2 now in a German university (which implies l am in Category B), and meaning that l must wait for more than 8 months to get visa, how will l now be able to meet up with resumption? Or is there a way to go about it.

Oh it’s been reset already, they do it on the 1st of April and 1st of November . However the embassy themselves sent me an email saying they’ve cancelled my previous booking and suggested I rebook. I’ve also seen on here , some people said you shouldn’t cancel and that it doesn’t matter . Don’t know how right or wrong that is .

keeping quiet won't solve this issue and also moving to another country for 6months is not an easy financial trip.

Ghana has dates for tomorrow and the whole of next week while we keep hoping.
We can come together for this and we would be surprise at what we can achieve.

In the last efforts, some of the people went there, to the Consulate, in person. I don't know if getting influencers involved is a bigger step than that, but oh well, I really don't know.
