Nigeria a country filled with religious zealots its no surprise there's a lot of discrimination. Look at Mubarak Bala not being charged to court after year in dentin because he doesn't care for someone's story book. 1 Like |

What about the Boko Haram and their hateful preaching against other religion especially Christianity... The problem of this country is not religion but Islam...... Islam should learn to accommodate other religion and allow peace into their hearts.... |

Blue3k: We'll never get passed this stage... because these people are the ones controlling this country and they'll ensure that their religion is put first before a man's life... They do whatever the book tells them and anything the book didn't say is Haram... imagine birthdays.... they have a ruling on birthdays....infact, they having rulings on how they put on their slippers... they having rulings on how they do everything.... So you see... they're guided and can't live their own life.... If the book ask them to kill, that's the ruling to behold. 2 Likes 1 Share |

yanabasee2: I agree the Islamic zealots are the worst when it comes to state sanctioned religious bigotry. I believe their still hope regarding the Supreme Court. Blasphemy laws are unconstitutional but nobody challenges these laws.. I noticed nobody giving examples them not being allowed to practice their beliefs. Anyway the only examples I have is akwa ibom building their church. Fact is people just like using the state to waste cash on the religious pet projects. 1 Like |

Blue3k: -If you think Nigeria will ever get better with respect to Religious Freedom or human rights in general, then, I doubt your critical thinking ability. -You better get used to it, as Nigerian commonwealth has been used to empower one of the most backward tribes in Africa to rule and subdue others for the benefit of the Imperialist Nations. Well, let’s leave it at that... |

Blue3k: -Never said that. You’re just unknowingly displaying your insecurities- Freudian slip. -Keep your faith in your “One Nigeria”. I bet, you have seen an army win a battle with enemies within the rank. |

PDJT: I didn't claim you said that. I asked you a question about reasonable alternatives? You seem insecure over simple questions IPOB. Bala's case will probably make it to the Supreme Court so we can expect a landmake case on this issue for better or worse. Anyway do you have examples of state sanctioned religious intolerance? |

ObiOfOnitcha:We realized that a great muslim is he who prays 5times a day and can murder thousands for his faith, example =usman dan fodio, abubakar shekau, suleiman the magnificent, abdulmuttalab the underpant bomber, and thousands of suicide bombers who erronously thought they have bought themselves 700 virgins each. |

The killing of Shi'ites and the destruction of their mosque is a good example, another one is the destruction of Jewish synagogues in the eastern part of Nigeria by Buhari. and the indiscriminate arrest of they members. 1 Like 1 Share |

vanunu: Most of the discrimination if any is usually directed at small groups instead larger ones like mainstream Christians. There's too much media attention generated by CAN. I never heard about the Synagogue incident. I just find it interesting Iran doesn't say much of anything to Nigeria regarding the shiites. |
