Dear house, I will travel to Ireland next week with Dublin as the point of entry and Limerick as my final destination. I want to know where I will need to quarantine, be it Dublin or Limerick. Thanks so much. |

Hi everyone Quick question please. Has anyone ever experienced a case where applications submitted on the same day as yours have been decided by the embassy, but your application number was not included in the reports on the weekly decision page? Submitted my study application since September and the embassy is currently treating applications received on 11th October. No news or updates on my application, and I am beginning to get worried because I need my passport back ASAP. |

Why not send an enquiry mail to the visa office processing your application and cite your application number alongside your complaint. I wish you a positive outcome as the wait can be depressing. purplish: |

Honestly! It is borderline annoying...your life on hold just because they want to issue a visa. I sent an email to them already. Thanks. Alday: |

Good afternoon guys, kudos to everyone keeping this thread going. Quick one, I started my visa application to Ireland about 5 days ago and I'm suppose to book an appointment with VFS with my required documents in place. My question : 1. How long does this process take because I'm expected to resume by February? 2. For a scholarship student, do I still need that huge amount of money in my account for finance evidence? 3. Can someone put me through on how the application process work? Thanks for now... 1 Like |

If your school is handling your movements, then you'd be heading directly to Limerick once you arrive Dublin Airport. Buses move straight to Limerick from there. chingynt: |

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, I'm making my travel arrangements. Again, I want to ask if you used the university's address and phone number when completing the locator form. Are you studying at UL? Geezle: |

Please is there a thread for Nigerians working In Ireland? Or planning to move to Ireland for Work? I need one ASAP. This is urgent as I got a job offer from thereOk forward to my previous post, I have got some information that was helpful. But I still have some specific questions regarding the work visa. I understand we have to submit statement of account for employment visa application: How much money is required to show in this statement? Also, can I apply for employment permit and visa while still in a job in Nigeria or I have to resign that first? |

Good morning everyone. Please i would need your assistance. My husband is applying to study in ireland for an undergraduate course, however there are discrepancies on Dob on his international passport and waec certificate. The date on birth on his waec is 12-8-1989 instead and that of his international pssprt is 8-12-1989. The correct dob is 8-12-1989(int passport). I was told his visa would be rejected, i want to know if an affidavit and newspaper publication can suffice as waec has stopped correcting errors on certificate. I would be grateful foe suggestions to this issue we have. Thanks and God bless you all |

Osa257: The sworn affidavit would fly if the mistake is on the WAEC results. However, i think the concern would more importantly why he's undertaking an UG program and how strong are his finances or finance of his sponsor. All the best 1 Like |
