Even the so-called high IGR means nothing if it doesn't affect standard of living. In USA for instance, Republicans cut taxes while Democrats hike taxes yet it make no much difference in individuals. Republican States run on a balanced budget while Democrats States run on debts.

Secondly, you can't generate more money in States with less cash flow than States with high cash movement unless it is an intentional policy.

In Nigeria, only six States control 90% cash movement and two are in Southeast.

Do you know that if you pay in a cash of 5 million as an individual in Abia and Anambra States, the government automatically gets N90,000 as default revenue from an individual then multiply by 30 days and thousands of individuals. The propaganda should just stop.
