Loads: 1tv, 2 fans(ox) and 4 white bulbs,I don't even use it with the fridge most times

would advise you buy another smaller generator to add to it. They consume less.

What KVA can carry a six bedroom duplex with a total combined 21 horsepower ACs, 2 big freezers , one fridge,pumping machine etc

And which brand would you recommend that is fuel efficient and easy to maintain

If you do this everyday then you should change oil every 3 weeks.

You should be getting around 10 hours for such load.

That gen is around 3.375KVA. It should power it if it's inverter AC especially. There is no cheaper alternative.

There is this Firman generator I need to get more enlightening about,its called semi silent generator.... from the informations I got its soundless and very homely...... I would like to know the different KVA's so as to know the one to purchase.... its called semi silent and the noise is minimal to other generators in the market,

MY WORST EXPERIENCE WITH GENERATOR
People of God I saved up money for 5 months to buy this generator, I needed generator that can carry my fridge and other appliances at home.
That faithful day I withdraw the money and headed to the market at Iweka Road Onitsha, in my mind I want d to buy Sumec product because it's one of the most used generator in town. When I got home to the market I pointed at sumec SPG2900, the man said 95k, I was like Oga na one generator I wan buy ooo no be all your shop I wan buy ooo, I price 85k, the man said 92k last and I carry 100k come market.
So I decided to try another shop, at the second shop, I met this guy he gave me the generator same 95k, but offered to give me another better generator with lesser price, you no say country hard so I wan save small money . The guy presented Senwi SV5200 at 85k Omor, that it's a new product and he have sold more than 150 pieces of it for over two months now and no complains. The guy really wash my head with soap, hypo and jik eeeeh, as person wey wan save 25k out of the 100k I paid not knowing that it's better chinco .
Two weeks later my problem started , it's not funny though. First was burning of the coil, ooh my God my new generator , I went back to the shop and the man I saw there said the guy no get shop there, say na Oso ahia guy and I left with anger. Later I settled the coil case, two weeks later another one started, I have to add oil everyday before I use my generator before you know it smoke everywhere, I called Technician and he said piston and Rings, I paid and it was resolved but since then I have been working on the generator, I have known virtually all the technician in my area and all the parts in generator .
The most annoying one was the my new babe came visiting to spend the weekend from Saturday evening to leave Tuesday morning after Monday sit at home, could you imagine this generator no gree start and NEPA no the everly bring light for my side unless God touch them. After that embarrassment, I vex park the generator.
To cut the long story short I finally go buy that Sumec SPG2900 but now na 105k imagine double abi triple expenses where I wan save money. Now I have rest of mind.
TELL US YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE SO THAT OTHERS CAN LEARN FROM IT.

Good morning engineer's in the house.
My sumec fireman SPG2900 generator does not supply light. When the generator is turned on, the voltage meter on the generator reads 220v and the red indicator light works. Pls what could be the cause of this issue.

Have you ever wondered why a lot of house holds use Sumec Firman Generators? In my compound alone about six tenants including myself use Sumec Firman Generators. Good news to Sumec Firman brand fans like me. I read in beginning of this thread where professor recommended tec for 1kva generator because it has Automatic Voltage Regulator(AVR) as against Sumec Firman 1kva generator that uses capacitor. Just got to know from my generator dealer that Sumec Firman now has a 1.2kva generator (SPG1800 Promax) that has digital AVR, oil warning system, circuit breaker amongst other fine features. The beautiful part is that it's pocket friendly (compared to Tec), it's very efficient and I learned it can carry their 1.5HP inverter AC. So incase anyone wants a pocket friendly, hassle free small generator, this is the product to go for.

Hope it's not just name that they have! How capable are their generators because me I have had my fair share of frustration from generators. Even one of my childhood memories includes seeing my dad being frustrated by our then generator - although not Sumec product. I went online to search for people's review on the best generator to buy that doesn't exaggerate kva,i was convinced on buying Sumec Firman generator because my friend has been using SPG3000 to run his business without no issues.
