I am not a very active participant on this thread but I am almost always reading it. I have gotten my ppr and stamp passport and it took time before I asked my very first question. I think the thread is losing its value when people ask very very basic questions. Like reading this thread there is more than enough questions about 'how to I send my passport to abuja'. I remember the first time I came across this information I screnshot it and saved it because I knew I will need it. Are people not also doing this. I downloaded the consent form ages ago before ppr even dropped. But almost every week there is another 'please where can I get consent form'.
Every week there is a 'please what documents do I need for study permit thanks. I need a quick response'. How about going on canadas official website. How about reading the thread from the beginning, how about previous threads? This thread just started some months ago and its almost up to 600 pages with not much new information. We need to do better.

Affidavit change of name range from #1500 to #2000
Newspaper publishing range from #5000 to #15000 The price varies & it depend on the newspaper you are publishing your name with.

I did mine a few years ago for 6000. 5k for newspaper publication, 500 Naira for the affidavit.

Yes,I should mention that I contacted 3 mp's and 1 responded and was willing to help,it was after that I got the second request to resend my updated loa,which ircc sent an acknowledgement mail that they have gotten it 2 days after or so,I waited for a while and since I didn't get any response again I sent a mail that I will appreciate if they can finalize my application soon,then the following day I sent a webform around 6:30am,ppr came in same day 10.30am

did you use Lagos VFS? They will send u an email with tracking number. Just be patient

No sir, you get UCI number when you create your study permit application sir. There are two different things sir ICAS is an ECA body (Educational Credentials Accessment service) which is used for Express Entry system and UCI is your personal unique number assigned to you when you create your study permit application sir.

Hi Queen, please confirm if there are some parts of the notes that redacted, to me the notes do not flow as it should, basically the when you stopped working in 2015, what were you doing? were you working or doing a business? You need to provide answers to these. This further dovetails into the SOP you wrote, you did not explain the progression of your career, ie rather than go for a bachelors why not try PGD?
The finance part you need to explain what your sister in ***** and mother does that backs up the lump sum deposit in their accounts, then you also need to show your closeness to them by providing pictures etc

MP means member of parliament, most people reach out to them to see if they can help get updates on their application if the school they are applying to is under their constituency, If IRCC have requested for updated LOA from you, please go and chill your PPR is coming. No need to send MP any message again.

I included our PPR letters. Well I was able to get through with vfs customer care. I was told that I’ll have to pay transmission for my son as well. I also paid 8920 instead 9410 for transmission fee. I immediately did that and send to a friend in Abuja to help me retrieve the parcel in DHL office in Abuja ( I checked and I found out the documents was still in abj)
A friend helped to include the new receipt and then drop the parcel @ same DHL . I pray they deliver 2 morrow
