It is not really about avoiding a challenge. The France job is his dream job and he has been waiting patiently for his old captain Deschamps to leave for him to take over. His dream is to win the World Cup with France as manager. It makes zero sense for him to accept the United job.

I'm up for anyone who will be able to get the best out of the current crop of players,but keep in mind that some of the game's elite have come here,(maybe past their prime) and have had to struggle with the demands of the club.

I wonder how people would choose Zizou over Poch. Zizou’s only success came in a star studded Madrid side.
