I just noticed on be a website that the transmission fee for PPR is now 9410 effective 1st of November 2021. Has anyone encountered this or have people succeeded in getting passport stamped with 8920?

Okay...I thought stamping is done at Lagos and Abuja,why transferring again?and pls wen did you send your ppt?I haven't heard anything from vsf

please can you shed more light on the suspicion of TB. My sis has the same problem and also had to wait for 2 months for her result to come out, then was asked to go do another test last week. What should she expect next?

What's the outcome of her TB test? Is it negative or positive? If it's the former, then she's got nothing to be worried about. But if the latter is the case, then she'd be expected to be certified medically fit for her application to be processed, as its processing would be halted until she's been fully treated. This is basically because TB is contagious, and untreated person would pose a serious health risk to Canadian citizens.

However, one can't be refused visa based on the fact that one is positive unless one doesn't go for treatment. That's my two cents.

Relax you will get it... When dhl get it from vfs they will send you a mail.

Hello everyone, pls i need help on how to escalate this issue. I received an email last week Friday that my decision envelope was ready for collection and would be sent via courier. I tried tracking it on vfs website and they said it had been given to the courier. However i tried tracking via dhl and saw that they had not received it. Yesterday i had a chat with vfs and they told me it was still with them, that i should call dhl to come and pick it up. I found this weird but i called dhl and they said they go there everyday to pick passports so if they dont have mine, it means they were not given. I had a chat with vfs today and they are still saying i should call dhl to come and pick the paasport, that DHL did not come there yesterday and they have not seen them today. Pls note i paid for 2 way courier. Please how else can i escalate this.

That's not what I meant. Once you have been certified medically free from it after treatment, you can't be refused on the basis that you once had TB.

I guess I was lucky.

it was 8,920 I paid ooo.have they increased the price ?

Yes I was told so by customer care rep. It’s now 9,410

Thanks for sharing. @jojorito007 said she was asked to pay the new fee and I checked and saw that the new fee was effective 1st of November 2021 that's why I asked. I also know someone who sent in November and paid 8920 and was fine. Anyways let's see how it goes.

I think the problem may be the transmission fee for your son. I see you did not pay for him, and yes even though he did not do biometrics, you are to pay the transmission fee for him. I also advise people to sign the consent form on behalf of the minor too. I mean no harm in that you know.

I still have some concerns . I sent my passport and my 6 yrs old son passport to Abuja for stamping but I checked my tracking and I discovered that vfs failed to receive the documents and so the documents is on its way back to Lagos without visa stamp . I called DHL to know why but what they said that in most cases like that ‘ it could be that my documents was not complete …. I tried contacting vfs to know the right docs to send but Their phone has not been through.My younger son has a US passport.
I am so stressed right now..
This is what I sent
2 photocopies of my passport ,
2 consent forms
Documents received when I did my biometrics
Original international passport
Receipt of Transmission fee (N8,900)

For my 6 yrs old son

( he didn’t do biometrics so I didn’t add any consent form)

Oh yes Canada does TB test too. That Chest x ray you do in your medicals exam is for TB test( exact one you do for UK). I have done for both UK and Canada own. If it comes out inconclusive, the person will be requested to provide (3) sputum samples over 3 consecutive days. These samples are then tested in a laboratory; it can take up to 8-10 weeks to come out.

Oh well, you can make more research to re confirm this..

Yes it's exactly same one you do for the UK TB test. My dear that your chest x ray is for TB test. You wouldn't know cause they just take your x ray. I actually asked them cause I did my Canada medicals before I went for my TB test for UK test and it was exact same chest x ray. I asked the personnel and they told me the one for Canada X ray was also for TB. More so, this is stated on the tests on the IOM site for Canada medicals. W

You can re confirm this from their site

Dr will only ask u during check up with Dr. They don't conduct TB test. It's only done for UK. I have my results with me and no TB report there

I applied in July and I had my medicals passed October 25, haven’t gotten an update since then. Although there was a time I logged on and saw “application update” has the status but there was nothing there, I’m guessing that’s the ghost update.

On through your admission portal. On the portal, you will see "View submitted application or uploaded documents", click on it and it takes you to where you can upload the requested documents.

I too must testify �� What God cannot do does not exist oo I decree my case is different earlier than expected

Please raise a webfrom to Nairobi directly.
State that you have done and passed your requested medical and expect a final decision to help you make timely arrangements. All things being equal they should do something in 5-10 working days from my experience. I sent a total of 3 webforms for various reasons and they took like 5 working days to do their stuff

Please is it necessary to get a gcms note after a denial? I hear the reason on the denial letter is usually not accurate.
Please how can someone order a gcms note to find out a reason for a denial and how much does it cost?
