Main reason Western countries are going ham on Covid is because Covid patients are blocking beds in their hospitals, denying other treatments, while Africans are happy to take their chances at home when they have Covid. Malaria is ten times more deadly than Covid (though less infectious) and some African countries are yet to fumigate their environment to get rid of mosquitoes. That should show you how unserious African leaders are, it's not a case of authoritarianism. Gambia have at certain times been able to fumigate and eradicate mosquitoes though, kudos to them.

herd immunity, the more people you have vaccinated, the safer society at large, any process that will protect society in aggregate has to be enforced irrespective of personal preference, all these Idiots fighting against vaccines, don't understand it and are exposing their ignorance

Vaccine essentially trains your immune system on how to fight a pathogen, once your immune system learns how to fight it once, it can always do it whenever the pathogen reappears

Besides only very few people have never been vaccinated, polio still exist, it's vaccines that makes its effect appear extinct

I think it’s just anxiety and fear of the unknown that makes some people shy away from the whole vaccination stuff. You will be surprised to know that some very educated people also are scared of the unknown and have refused to get vaccinated until maybe when it’s made compulsory.

The authorities themselves are not helping matters.

My second dose was supposed to have been 3rd November. I went only to be told that AstraZeneca is not available. I asked if I can walk to another centre and take it and the lady told me that there is no AstraZeneca in the whole of Rivers State, that because the response was low, the vaccines expired and they are expecting another batch. That's very surprising. What that means is that the whole of Rivers State got only one batch of the vaccines that's why they all expired at the same time. What kind of arrangement is that? Till now, it's not in stock yet.

The club needs to review this captain armband of a thing, Thiago Silva should be wearing it after cesear Azplicueta not fucking Jorginho .
