Then later she will start getting jealous about your male friends too and then your family members. Then soon you won't be able to go out and drink a bottle of beer on your own without her creating a scene when you get back home.

She is basically isolating you and when the emotional bullying starts you will have no one to turn to because you have abandoned all your friends and everyone will say "shebi love dey shack am that time".

Don't lose your independence because of marriage. No man is an island. Just because you are married doesn't mean you should not relate with other people in life.

So, I'm not married yet. I have some female friends who have been there for me, and I for them. The only reason why a supposed wife will push this unreasonable act is because she feels that a man and woman cannot be friends without getting sexually involved.
