If you must know my personal opinion; I would like someone from the South East to become President in 2023.

I am from the South South but It's inexcusable that the Ibos have not produced a President in this Nigeria.

A decent and reputable Ibo man from APC like Ken Namani, Ogbonaya Onu, Chris Ngige or Dave Umahi would do it for me.

For your information, if a proper census was conducted, it would come to light that Nigeria is actually over 68% Muslim.

The North is overwhelmingly Muslim. The SW has a silent Islamic majority, and Muslims are even found in large numbers in Edo, which is the SS. Absent the 5 states of the SE, there is no other zone where Islam is not the dominant religion. However, we don't lord it over the remaining religious groups.

But with what I'm seeing here, things may just have to change and the majority will have its way. You can't marginalize the majority for perpetuity.

The SW has a slight Muslim majority, and even parts of the SS have Muslims in Edo. Only the SE is predominantly Christian, but things there are slowly changing and Islam is making inroads there as well as people in that zone are quietly converting, but due to perceptions of Islam, they are not public.

So when you say south, be sure to specify SE and parts of SS only. Do not lump the entire south into your cooked up statistics.

Ogun and Lagos have more christians than Muslims

Only Osun and Oyo have a slight Muslim majority of 60%

At the end Christianity is the more dominant in West

In East is outrightly Christianity by 95% at least so I don't known where your slowly changing is coming there
