This ranking is fluid and doesn't actually state the fact. African children have excel greatly when they are given an enabling environment. African educational environment is the worst in the whole world, this will affect anyone's IQ. Let children from these other continents be exposed to this same environment and see how they will perform academically.

Maybe if the comparison is base on EQ I would have supported that. Honestly speaking, In Africa we have problem of Low emotional questien (EQ) and that is what affecting our everyday's life activities.

If we're judging Africa from two centuries ago then it has nothing to do with IQ.

Yes. It's easy to point fingers at the people of Africa today and say they're dumb but let's not forget that this situation didn't develop overnight or in a vacuum. About a thousand years ago, Africans had empires that flourished throughout the continent. They developed their own unique type of technology, politics, arts, sports and a whole lot. This progress continued until they were stricken by the hands of slavery through the Arabs. This was also precipitated by the arrival of the Europeans who not only extracted the human resources but were also involved in taking away various mineral resources. Even when slavery was outlawed, they still found a way of subduing the population through colonization and that happened till some of our parents were born. When colonization ended, they still found a way to subdue us through neo-colonization. I would have pointed fingers at our immediate ancestors but they were a also a product of their time. The various activities that went on through the centuries have been successful in entirely changing the culture, demographics, religions and a whole lot when it comes to our way of thinking and today, we're still trying to find ourselves.
Africans aren't dumb, the just a product of trauma and until the population finds a way to rectify this problem, nothing would change.

Take credit for their achievements. Sub Saharan Africans can't take credit for the achievements of a region that has always been multi-cultural (ancient Egypt). It's fraudulent and disingenuous.

1. This is a very bitter pill to swallow but the truth is that what the op posted is accurate. Genetics contributes to the intelligence of every individual and as well as the environment. If you are deep into neuroscience studies you would have discovered this long ago.

2. IQ test study is (one) of the studies with the highest number of samples and replication taken from all continents.

3. IQ is highly influenced by genetics. Environment also play a significant role. However, the effect of environment on IQ declines as from 14-16 years of age as genes takes over from there: the Wilson effect.

4. The polygenic risk scoring and genome wide study are still working out seriously to determine the exact genes that are responsible for intelligence.

5. Scientists currently know this accurately by the SAT and ACT scores. All scores are normally distributed using the bell curve. Mean average intelligence for Blacks is 85, America and Europe 100+ and Asians 105+

6. The twins studies has also proven this fact. Twins raised in different environment still had same IQ and environment played only little role. (The twins I have observed personally also made me confident on its findings).

7. Admixture studies still did same. White or Asian hybrids of kids did better than black hybrids.

8. Africa is backward today because of low IQ, and low IQ positively correlates with low income, crime, high risk involvement, low academic performance etc. Black American community in the USA also proves this.

Don't think too far, if you've lived long in Africa, you'll know that the above is accurate.

9. Though genetics plays an important role in IQ, but if the African environment is built to a good standard her citizens can still do wonders.

The list is actually consistent with what existing data tells us. Africans/Blacks/Sub saharans perform worse than all other races in standardized IQ Testing. Far East Asians (Chinese, Japanese Koreans) and Ashkenazi Jews typically get the highest scores, followed by the Nordic whites (Germans, Scandinavians, British, French etc) then South Asians (Indians, Pakis) Hispanics, Arabs then Blacks at the extreme bottom.

The funny thing is that Asian and Caucasian students even outperformed blacks in IQ tests which were designed by black teachers and educators.
