it's very cheap
after using your toilet flush it and pour some pesticides into the water
no reptile that breaths will survive in that water

snakes and other reptile are cold-blooded animals,..

at a time like this due to metamorphosis and cosmopolitan weather ❄ they need to hide themselve in order to warm their body.
and one interested biology about them they can live upto 7 days without looking for food so that's why they prepared to live at a place like this.

if you are scared make sure you always look in to your toilet and flush it with water a lot. use bleach it hurts them and pesticide

Very important toilet practice that people overlook:

1. The toilet bowl should always be closed.

2. You should always flush the bowl before opening the lid. This may not necessarily flush the reptiles away, but it will splash and dangle while the water is gushing on it. That is enough for you to suspect something inside.

Also hygienically, you won't get to see someone else poo or wee just in case the person forgets to flush after his/her business.

3. And when you are done with your business, remember to flush the bowl and close the lid.

I so much hate it when toilet lids are not closed.

The day I saw a snake on a high lamppost I knew that no where is safe. They can climb up and into anywhere.

These reptiles get access to our toilets through opening from sock pit and control Chambers.

A simple antidote in Nigeria is that on a monthly basis you mix kerosene (2-4 litters) and flush your toilets. These reptiles can't survive with the combination of salt and kerosene.

I have one closed and one is open.

One advice I will drop here, most of them will start packing out of their houses.

Well, the snakes mostly penetrate via the small concrete tanks at the back of the toilets called CHAMBER.

Every toilet and Kitchen wastes has a chamber where waste water runs into before getting to the septic tank.

That's where snakes likely penetrate through.

It's just at back of every toilet. Some of them are not well sealed with concrete due to maintenance.

You don't have to be afraid of using the toilet. Pour a littre of fuel into your toilet bowl and flush it into the soak away pit. It sofocates any living thing inside. You can do it twice a week. The smell will not allow any creeping thing come closer to your toilet and sorounding.
