these links are saying that the date of the application is the date that the visa application fee is paid. I thought that the date of the application is the date one does the biometrics

No Sir, the date visa application fee is paid is the date of application.Once you make payment, you should have received the PDF print out which would also state ''Date of application"

Similar to the one you helped me with albeit this is for Sweden. I hope you may be able to point me in the right direction.

How can I request for my personal data held in the Swedish equivalent of UK's SARU?

I will like to know if a student visa application I made back in 2008 was successful or not.

Out of naivety I didn't follow up with the Swedish's Home Office after making application.

And up till now, I can't say what the outcome was.

I would really appreciate your kind help.

Print your statement a day after the loan payment was made. start counting a day after the payment was made.

Please, has anyone received this email before while waiting to decide on the visa application. Application at DMC on the tracker since 16th but received this morning. Is it not TLS that usually sends pick-up mail? and I didn't pay for delivery.
