How do you trade? Spot or futures?

I'm currently hodling with cross margin and trading/scalping a few coins with hedged futures on low leverage, tight stop loss. Makes it easier to close trades if need be.

Using spot to keep my usdt/profit.

Working well so far.

I trade with spots with stop limit..

I no get steneght for that futures now..

How does the cross margin work?

There are some coins i thought i lost so much money, i had to convert most of them to btc cos i knew one certain fact, bt.C will always survive any dip but your alts, you are not sure of surviving the dip. Eg nano is still not anywhere near its alt, some coins has vaporised from cryp.to space. Then i saw some posts on the Internet of ppl losing their houses, so much money in this space. Like the FOMO is real. One borrowed against their house without the knowledge of his wife to buy doge, now thay are homeless.
There will be losses, and their will be gains. But try to make your gains >than your lose.
To those who has lost so much, look at the future and hang on there. Take a break. And pls if you think you cant survive if your portfolio goes to zero, pls reconsider before taking the risk. Always invest what you are willing to loose.
Once you invest, try and get back your initial investment. Dont be too greedy. Greed kills all.
95% of people still think dat u can only loss if u sell at lost undecided
If u can't hold, u can't be rich.......the coins ur holding at loss is it worth holding

12 months makes a year ND ur a bags holder for 6 months which u bought ATH ND ur not even close to half the ATH..........u will still called ur self a holder undecided

Nobodys is right in crypto, investor ND trader re the same, the only difference is the person behind it.
Investors can be rich also with traders, the sad fact is that everybody can't be rich but u can live a beta lifestyle.

This life ain't easy.

Lol.....This one makes you money....That one makes you homeless....As long people in strong support of FA makes money from it and people in strong support of TA makes money from it, this argument will go on forever. Wherever this two set of people are this debate is sure to constantly surface!!!!

“A man is incapable of comprehending any argument that interferes with his revenue”. grin

It's not evan a debate to start with... Most successful folks I know in this space incorporate both into their trading style... Those screaming FA have not shared how they use FA to make money...

Sometime back, I made a post on portfolio allocation. That highlighted more strategizing using FA than I have seen posted here.... Why is a good chunk of my portfolio is in eth? it's based simply on FA.

So when they say FA vs TA, it's not a debate that's meant to be followed.. It's just a group of new folks who the market is schooling.... If you enjoyed the 75% Bitc0in pump from 40k to 70k, then a very healthy 25% retrace is common sense....

TA, most atimes it does show FA and SA if carefully watched. Good to learn all.

The folks leading this talk are just folks who bought the top.
They're yet to explain how they use one irrespective of the other

Countless number of people were attracted to crypto due to the last heavy rally. Its important to note that long term view is the best goal in this game and most importantly, U invest what U can afford to lose (Never ever take a bank loan, invest ur house rent or invest money to run home).

If the big institution controlling/regulating would continue to move the majors price by history/chat, 2022/2023 might be very disheartening for crypto investors. So it's important U don't get discouraged with ur expectations been hit sharp sharp while holding.

My strategy that has saved me stress and over thinking, I started crypto with exactly N500k and I have pulled out my capital with lots of gains. What I have left in there is crypto money so whatever happens while I hope for the best, I get less bothered.

While holding good coins/tokens and looking at the big picture, it's also important to note that crypto would not last forever. However,we are still in its early days grin

Alot of commentaries here but how can you blame anyone;
People's 1k are turning $930.... started buying dips from yesterday and then this morning, currently losing about 80. I am having a conviction we still in a bull and then dips are normal occurrences in month ends. However, the new covid variant may come with its own stuffs and nuke the whole market and then I would wish I had closed everything at this level. It's all good, let's and watch and see.

On a side note, it's really funny how people's entry prices gets flipped to become a profit taking point: for instance I was here when people where jumping that they got FTM at 2.65, some other person who bought Ada at 1.8, said he is never selling lol. Now someone who buys at this levels may follow Openheaven's advice and start T.ping at the former prices. Very funny market we find ourselves

DOTUSD perpetual 1 minute chart look so funny... See the high negative funding rate... Shorts were betting massively against DOT, thus lowering the price.

Now they're all getting liquidated or stopped out with stop-loss...

DOT that just successfully completed one or two parachain auctions. Chai!

How does the cross margin work?

You move coins from spot wallet into cross margin wallet and buy any of the other coins there with up to 3x leverage, if you wish to.

Cannicus:

It means if you have a bag of say ICP or Bake you don't want to sell, you can move it to cross margin account and get twice its value in usdt which you can then use totally or partially to buy other coins that are mooning to average out your loss on the bags you are HODLing.

More info on Google and YouTube as usual.

My btc hedge doing fine.

Will keep adding shorts above $55k and adding longs below $54k

Will probably close the shorts at $48-$52k and ride the longs to $98/$135k or $69k.

You will buy a coin e.g ebalnik in bsc.mdex.com with 1000 usdt, then go to pancakeswap and swap it back to usdt (you will be getting more than 2000 usdt)

Is this true?. How do I go about it

Using high leverage with low funds and low leverage with bigger funds.

Will keep adding to my ETH longs below $4000. No shorts.

Been swinging Sol for a while. Left with 24 I bagged between $185 and $193. Will offload 6 between $193 and $199, then another 6 between $200 and $206, then open shorts or place bids for lower longs.

Will partially offload the rest around $215, $222, $228 till $260 and beyond.

Liquidation price currently sitting at $165, but will push it below $150 soon.

Just started with Avax. Will add more each dip with small small money.

And are they mainly screaming because they are in severe pain after unexpectedly losing great deal of money to bitcoín fall? Cause I am starting to notice this call out of TA is useless happens when there is a drastic fall in BTĆ price!!!

And I am really glad you chartist guys are staying on your ground this time around, I admire that. Normally, at this kind of time; you all would have gone into oblivion and start coming out when things goes back to normal grin

Referral bonus can only be a one time thing. I don't see it reoccurring on all transactions.

Edit: It looks like it does reoccur. But it's not clear for how long
