Till date I haven’t met anyone or agency that has used Ethiopian airlines. As for the others, just make sure your itinerary is clear from the Omicron-affected African countries and you should be fine. My apologies I do not frequent this website.

True, they aren't doing that at all for now. There is high shortage of skilled workers in Australia. Let's hope that they are not thinking in the direction of border closure due to fear of Omicron

I need help. Please. I graduated 2012 in tai Solaris university of education. With bsc/ed sociology with 3rd class grade. Hello, my husband did his covid PCR test in May when he was leaving for Australia at Mecure in Lagos State. You can do it anywhere but it's better to do it in a big clinic to avoid wahala at the airport.
Also, the test has to be taken less than 72 hrs before your flight. The best thing to do is to do it a day before.

I have a scholarship from UNSW for a Ph.D. but I do not have money for couple health insurance as UNSW said they will only refund the health care ( for me alone) when I am in Australia. Now I want to ask is it possible that I buy two single medicare insurance which is around 3068dollars each instead of buying couple? Then when we get to Australia one can get money and buy the couple one later.

For any decision you take, try to follow the Unsw directive on purchasing the OSHC from their preferred provider - medibank (comprehensive cover), to ensure no stories in your refund https://research.unsw.edu.au/additional-information.
For your partner, you may source the cover from a cheaper option. Since refund is just for the student.

Hello everyone, please I would like to know if sibling is acceptable as sponsor for VISA application. What I saw on the VISA application page talks to only parents and spouse. I did not see sibling anywhere in the evidence of financial capability section. Someone with most recent experience should help clarify if using sibling as sponsor is fine and it will cause no issue.
