Amenmay:So sorry Amen, At this point you need to arrest that agent!,How can one have 2 chargeback claims? That agent is evil. There are few remedies for a ban, because they would have sent the agent procedural fairness letter to address the chargeback claims, he must have gotten it and sat on it without responding within the deadline. Call him out on social media. So sorry 1 Like 1 Share |

Amenmay: Omo,some people no get conscience oo. Before dishing out this ban,IRCC must have given them ample time to respond and perhaps remedy the situation. Some of these agents collect huge amount of money just to jeopardize the whole journey. So painful. I empathize with you and hopefully anyone with an idea of how visa bans can be overturned would step in here. 3 Likes |

MykelAyo: Honestly I really don't like what IRCC is doing ... Its really not fair And just like today someone was refused after 6 months of waiting.... Keeping someone all that time and still issue a refusal letter isn't just right at all |

Anon123: Yes, I did prove my relationship with my sponsor in my SOP and backed it up with some docs. Though my admission came with a fully-funded tuition scholarship and a TAship from my department. However, I didn't include my personal bank statement as at when I submitted my application because my sponsor's was handsome, and I also got another internal scholarship of $5k CAD from my faculty, whose document I sent to IRCC via a web form. I guess my inability to include my SOA led to the refusal. |

Bobomaigida: Thanks, Bobomaigida. I ordered my notes last week before getting the decision on my application today. I hope that one would suffice, as it should contain the VO's major concerns other than the generic one that accompanied the refusal. Yes, I'm on a fully-funded tuition scholarship. I even got another one-off scholarship of $5k CAD from my faculty, whose document I equally sent to IRCC through a web form. I'm suspecting that it could be because I didn't attach my personal account statement to my application during the time I submitted it. |

Tinakem: Thanks, Tinakem. I had already ordered my notes last week before getting the final decision today. I hope it would contain the VO's major concerns when it comes out, other than the generic one that came with the refusal letter. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Anon123: 6:09pm On Nov 29, 2021 |
Amenmay: I have been following up on this issue and all i can say is its unfortunate. Th VOs probably decided to take this decision because the repayments resulted on a chargeback which gave them the impression you were intentional with your actions. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Onaya(m): 6:09pm On Nov 29, 2021 |
Scott99tish: I ordered my notes since last week before getting the final decision today. I am of the opinion that it should contain the VO's real concerns when it is released within the given time frame. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Anon123: 6:12pm On Nov 29, 2021 |
Onaya: YES... Even if you are fully funded, you are expected to include your own bank statement. |
