VaselineCrew: I had a similar experience last weekend. I went to pick a rider inside an estate. The street is tarred by half. The untarred part was heavily waterlogged. I stopped at the end of the tarred area. The rider's house started the untarred area. Now, there are little dry spots that pedestrians walk through to avoid entering the water. The rider came out and instead of walking through the dry part to come and enter the car, she was gesturing to me in a very rude way to enter the water and come in front of the gate. I looked at this person, I don't really understand why she wants me to enter the water when she could just walk up and enter the car. I was just looking at her, looking at the water and while trying to process the scenario, she just entered inside and canceled. I just turned off my engine and decided to teach her some lesson. She requested three times and got me and canceled. After waiting for some minutes, she requested for the 4th time and still got me and canceled before I received another request and left there. Some of these guys are just impossible. 14 Likes |

komodapson: I have read this statement too often and I think it's a generalization taken to the extreme. First of all, this is a black nation with 97% of the riders being black. So, it is expected that negative experiences with riders are mostly from black people. Secondly, the Indians, Chinese, etc foreigners you carry are expats. They are rich and/or educated Indians who left their country not because of hunger and search for greener pastures but because they came down here for serious business cum investment. So, they are most likely to behave themselves. An average poor Indian will behave worst than an average poor Nigerian. You will agree with me that carrying some rich educated Nigerians come with less headache than carrying those poor girls that can hardly afford their fee. So, it's not a black man thing, it's the population and the dynamics of the type of people we carry in each of the races. Some riders will keep you waiting for 3 minutes and will apologize heavily when they come out, some others will keep you waiting for 18 minutes and still come out to tell you it's their money that's reading. Both are Nigerians but with different manners and understanding. A rider tried to open my car for only God knows why? Maybe hit me or something but for the fact that I central locked the car... He ordered me with three other girls. They took me to his house and he entered inside with one of the girls while I was waiting outside with the remaining 2 girls inside the car. After waiting for 5 minutes, I just wound down the glass and turned off my engine. When he came out after 18 minutes, he was angry that why should I turn off my engine and wind down my glass when the trip is still reading, that I did that because they are girls. Some guys can misbehave when in the midst of girls really. I would have done the same thing if it were guys too. Even the way he was talking to me trying to belittle me before those girls, I changed it for him anyway. The trip was really tumultuous. He told me to end the trip and ordered the girls to come down. Initially, I was to take the girls to their own house which is like 5 minutes from there. Now after waiting for 15 minutes, I told the girls to call their friend to know how long it will take them to come out as the waiting doesn't pay me at all but instead of doing that, they flared and starting arguing with me. Bolt riders do not know that waiting during the trip does not pay the driver at all rather it only waste his time and fuel if engine is on. 13 Likes |

Johnchrix: Bro I’ve done Moove and it’s not easy but trust me you can’t die. Set a goal and targets and see how quick you’ll make it. My goals and targets then was to use the money I saved and get my engine. You can easily be sourcing for another car while driving with Moove cos you’ll meet lot of people and join WhatsApp group which can open doors for you. But you can’t get any helper for gamble house (you can never get anybody wey go help you in this life for bet naija shop) So buckle up and trash that sense of making small money for bet shop while wasting your time. The last time I advised you was July or august and since then you’ve not gotten a car? Supposed you joined Moove then, and be saving 2k everyday you work, by now you will be aiming big because na Moove Dey repair their vehicles. Majority of us that left Moove did so because we’ve gotten another option or we own our cars. Please wake up today at least use this December take hustle for car and by Gods grace you’ll get your own. Abòroò lama n so fun owoluabi Peace 17 Likes |

Next time just push urself to 12midnight and net 25k easily like pearl naah. Well I agree that bolt is the best for now. I took a trip of 1.7 lekki phase 1 to phase 1 other side cos rider was outside d gate as request enter he just knocked and said bro you dey go lekki ? To say no hard me. Long story short we did 4stops of 2mis , 4mins and 1mins before destination. From pick up to destination originally was supposed to be 7mins, but we went to supermarket and chicken republic before destination. At every stop I was changing destination from my app. Rider: bro pls stop updating d trip just leave d final destination on. Me: okay (me wey dey boil cos I dey inside 1.7x dey turn up and Dan just continue updating destination) Trip ended -3,200 Rider :ahhh bolt go kill person dis season. Me: (straight face ) Rider: why is bolt fare so high dis days Me: it’s a surge trip Rider: everyday is surge on bolt, anytime I make request is surge. Your account number.
