OfoIgbo: That is enough proof. It's a common word among all Ijaw clans. Olodiama(Edo),Gbaramatu(meaning:people of Gbarau town/village) and Kabiama in Delta state,Ukparama in Ondo etc. There are so many to list.A lot of Ijaw villages have "Ama" or "Biri" attached to them. 1 Like |

Alabo7978: Are you trying to say Crow didn't know what he was talking about? The same Crow that took slaves from Bonny to the new world for over a decade. Whose duty is was to sort slaves according to their origin. Who was VERY good friends of both King Pepple and King Haliday including their wives and Bonny natives. So much he was nicknamed Play man. The same Crow that makes jest of both Kings. That once walked King Haliday off his ship. Crow that was able to quell an uprising of slaves on a ship by appealing to the slaves according to their ethnic nationality. Crow who was able to differentiate different nationalities Igbos (including breeches), Brass, Ottams, Quaws, Appas etc according to their language, physique including complexion, mannerism, tribal marks etc Is it the same Crow you are talking about? The one that knew igbos so well he knew their common names and wrote a dictionary of their language. Is he the one you are saying he won't be able to identify the ethnicity of his personal friends and long term business associates. Like I said, that memoir was written for the future. 15 Likes 2 Shares |

JANK23H:I guess this settles the meaning of Ama in both cases. We would need more info about the Okoloma in Ndoki. It is interesting to note that the Ndoki, Opobo and Bonny are the same people according to findings. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Alabo7978:Brother, quit the lies, Okoloma in Ndoki is one of their oldest settlements. Ndoki was settled way before Bonny was inhabited How did you know? Did you read the book? You took half of the excerpt from my upload to foment your theories. Okay, let's agree that "Okolo ama" is the name. Why is the king in the same book state that he and his people are from the "Igbo" country? In the same series of letters, he asked that an Igbo bible be created which Rev. Taylor and Crowther went ahead to create? Do not worry, when I have the time, I will upload the full letter or story. 11 Likes 1 Share |

OfoIgbo:So because a white man came and said something, does it mean he is right? Na the white man born am? Show me a testament, and you're showing a white man thesis who didn't even know everything about the land they came to exploit. Mr Man show me a testament. Same white clans who called ijo Jo men, and called the Nembe/brass/kula/bille etc brass men. Without knowing they were plenty several different tribes. |

I can't wait for this case to be forwarded to a competent court of law with the required jurisdiction These materials we have here also rubbishes claims by some idiotic ekwerom ethnicity who said Igbo language was forced on them during regional government. What a load of baloney. Very soon we may open their case again with prehistoric materials like this. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Ekealterego:He didn't say so, your white man said so. And by the way, the only reason ndoki even have some ties with Bonny was because Asimini married off his granddaughter Kambasa off to an ndoki man to Foster trade relations with the hinterlands, Kambasa didn't like that place, and once her father died she returned back to okolo-ama leaving her husband behind. Your white man didn't even mention that because he didn't know how to communicate with the locals in the dialect so he just gather few facts to HURRIEDLY arrange a report or thesis. If not for Kambasa marrying an ndoki man, the few IBO freemen wouldn't have been free. 1 Like |

I think we need to open a thread on this fraudulent Perekule the Ijaws keep using for King Pepple. I open the thread and one uninformed admin sent it to food section. We can use the opportunity to tell the true story of King Pepple, his Igbo name, his Igbo origin and his exploits. At least unlike the Ijaws, we use facts to back up our findings. What do you think Slayerforever? 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Alabo7978:Okoloma existed before any human dwelled in Bonny. Stop your fables. OKoloma is as old as Ndoki. Another fable, Tales by the moonlight. Where is this written? We come with fact, you come with myths with no receipts. See the difference. Slayerforever, Eastlink (see your Alinsaw Egbema), Newage98, see your Ekpahia (Ekpeye), Bkayy, Igboid. Alabo7978: Facts not fiction. Whatever we say here should be evidence based. Some of this things happened more than 200years ago so oral fictions are mostly unreliable. So provide supporting literatures. Meanwhile, I take exceptions to your saying, "your whiteman" dismissively as you won't be doing the same if the write up favours you. If you won't acknowledged a white slave merchant's written account, whose own would you believe? Some tales by moonlight? 8 Likes |

JANK23H:Brother, do not be clever by half, all our uploads clearly stated the differences in languages. What they stated was that most of the groups were related or descended from the Igbos. All the books meticulously stated the difference and collected specimens of the languages. 9 Likes 1 Share |

9Pluto:You lie nigga. The white men met hostility when they came. Infact the ordinary natives hated them. They were only friends with the king and chiefs. They were tales of white men wandering off and they were caught and eaten. Crow could identify features and know where they come from, and I too can do that. I know what a native American looks like even though they put on suits, I know how many Asians look like even though the ordinary less-analytical brain will see them and assume they are Chinese but does it make me an expert in their traditions? Do it makes me know how to speak Mayan language or some other Asian language? Okolo-ama are the original owners of Bonny. It isn't hard to see. I showed you crowthers report. The brass men in your write up were a combination of (Nembe, kula, bille, twon etc) who are offshoot of ijo but did the white man know this? No. He just made hasty generalization. Wasn't it one of those British explorers who said Nembe was Igbo? How many times has this reporters in their false thesis caused many explorers to loose their lives while looking for the source of the river Niger? They are famous for guessing and guessing and guessing just to gain stupid plaudits for some weeks in the British media. These white men rewrote African history and many Africans like you believe. Remember El Dorado and it's false reports which led alot of ship expedition to America but all was futile? Crow knows nothing and the people despised him. Crowther appealed more because he was black so he got the real information. 1 Like |

SlayerForever:JANK23H do not mind them, I know what you're talking about. Many people in the region around Igbo land were refered to as igbos. Even in the military era in Nigeria, the northern people use to believe everybody in the former eastern region we're ibos, just as we believed everyone in the north were HAUSA, or everyone in the west was Yoruba. Heck the ibos themselves see efiks, ibibio, and every one with that sound of the language as calabar people. Same mistakes most these white men did Pluto9 |

SlayerForever:You wouldn't know because you are Igbo.To the average Yoruba we are all "Omo Ibo".They know nothing about distinctions. Stop wanking over revised history. The Europeans caused a lot of trouble to Africa and Native American history.I'm familiar with most of those texts you uploaded and there are several others that contradicts them.Hence,I'm no bothered about uploading anything. 2 Likes |
