Finally collected my passport today. I captured August 30th and passport was issued Nov 5th.

If you did capturing in August and early september at Alausa, go and check your passport should be ready.

N.B- STRICTLY DIY

Does this DIY really work in Nigeria?

Does this express really work?

What really does immigration officers do as you give them 55k or 65k etc.

I think everyone does DIY, the only difference some paid more to get their passports out which may not even be effort of the passport guys as I have seen those that paid huge amounts yet nothing.


People should also know that most immigration staff may be present here to market express.
It's not by force to do express if you don't have to.

If you captured at Ado Ekiti immigration office, I called an officer this evening and he said they are still producing passports for those who captured in August and materials no plenty.

I tried logging on NIS website to check my application status, it returned that my "application has expired" same issue Jibwillz has.
I decided to go to ABK to check, was first told August production hasn't started but the lady decided to check my enrollment ID and saw it was ready... Strictly DIY..

Bro, so i checked mine too on Saturday and it says expired, I plan on going to abeokuta on Friday, pls where exactly did u collect urs I mean which office, and which lady, so as to go directly to the place too... thanks for your usual support

i was waiting for their message but if that's the case my passport too go don ready, captured on september 15th @Alausa (DIY 5years-35pages), i'll go and check on wednesday.

It's not supposed to be. They are just creating bottlenecks
Last year I did mine in Bayelsa, they requested for it but I was already told that it wasn't needed. Or let me say as serious as it needed in those other 3 states.

Don't mind them. They are just unhappy that one is not using any agent hence the bottle neck.

I captured 11/10/2021 and my collection date is 12 of December.

Will be be ready by that date?

Does the date on the collection slip given work?.

Because I did capturing on 11th of October and I was given a collection slip to come collect the passport booklet on the 8 of December.

Explain to your office whats going on. If they are in Nigeria, they should grant you some grace.

Luckily my office granted me 2 weeks grace and I got it at about that time , if they hadn't I would definitely have missed out on the trip. I'm presently in Dubai for 2 weeks. Thinking about opening a thread on the whole process and posting pictures of my travel.

My slip read 27th of Oct but was ready 5th of Nov.

What can be done to fasttrack one to get his/her NIN. My sister registered since August and she has not gotten her NIN. The guy keep saying it has not dropped and she can't register again.

Please advise as she needs it urgently for a job!!!

I registered August 3rd and but I was told they are still printing those that did theirs in July 14

Good day guys, pls who knows if there is booklet in Abuja immigration office. Wanted to start the passport processing here in Asaba but someone advice me to go to Abuja

I was there and its same excuse of no booklets. Some say they re expecting this week while others say they can't say when the booklets go come. But as i was sitting down i saw a lady been given her passport codedly and i went to block her outside she said she captured sept ending. Honestly am tired and frustrated. Am supposed to resume school by January all my hopes is now slim by d day.

pls help I captured since Aug 15 at akure the excuse they are given since that time is no booklet,pls house what step should I take to fast track it money is not my problem if I didn't get my passport latest December ending I will be in trouble

For 32 pages, 5 years (renewal), 26k (processing fee included)
Check the NIS online platform for the cost of others.

I work in ikeja ,is it advisable to use alausa ,are they orderly?or should i use ikoyi passport office?kindly advise.
