Suss95: The program admission is relatively easy if you meet up their requirement. Expect no scholarship because it a Professional program. If I would advise you, I will say you should look for other masters or post graduate diploma in GIS with internship or coop. Experience counts more than a master's degree in Canada GIS field and your proposed program is relatively theoretical with no internship or coop. All the best. |

Foski01: No one can predict government decision, except they have insider information. However, I can tell you that a good government priority is to protect its citizens. So they will do anything to achieve that, including banning all incoming flights if necessary. I will try to enter Canada as soon as I have the required visa and I am allowed to enter. Well I didn't know Nigeria is already on the list when I posted this. Unfortunately, serious government around the world don't want to take chances anymore. They will receive huge backlash if they are perceived as unresponsive to any international covid threat. I would advise anyone planning to come soon to email their school. Perhaps they will allow online classes or mount pressure on Canadian government for exemption. All the best. 1 Like |

Osemigho: Osemigbo, glad to see you still helping out here. To all those planning to travel soon. Don't panic, it will all pan out well. Wait a few days to see how things are, weigh your options and make a decision. Shit happen, all will be well in the end. Soon enough many will figure out a way of getting here as suggested by someone earlier (probably through a neighbouring country). |

Ikechi12:It’s not this deep! If they see it they throw it away , if you bring it again in the future you’ll be subject to a monetary fine, in the usa it’s about $250/$200 fine. I always try my luck and sometimes it shines , sometimes they find it trash it. 1 Like 1 Share |

Hello guys, I have an issue. My mom’s PPR came and we sent it to VFS to submit it to the embassy. On review what had been sent I found out I forgot to actually print out the original PPR letter and I have already dispatched it to the UPS office. What should I do? |

Onaya: If you read this page well, you will realize single applicant with full Canadian scholarship don't need a sponsor. You only complicate your financial situation with your sponsors, if they are not your parents and rich enough to afford your tuition and living expenses. Many past single applicants with full scholarships, including myself, got their student visa with less than 1m in their account. If you don't have that saved, Your parent or siblings can transfer this to you and give you a letter of moral support, not financial support. Your sponsor is your school scholarship. 1 Like |

Sell off things? Why? I dont think it should get to that though. Indians found a way out and continued to travel when they were banned for the Delta variant. A matter of weeks, people will figure out other ways to travel. Well, we can only keep hope alife. Me I do not want to study online like this oooo. God will help us Ketima: 1 Like 1 Share |

As long as the airline has not suspended the flight, I think he can take that chance though as things are still sketchy..it is well Chris182: 2 Likes |

They can be reviewing your eligibility without updating it on your portal. Some peoples own are not updated sef until they get PPR. So would one now say they did not review their application ? Mine started the same day I got medical request, ofcourse they will not issue a MR without reviewing eligibility...This just depends on the VO. Some update portal as they go while some others simply update after final decisions has been made. Teemenzo: |

Chris182:You can try, but the worst that can happen is you checking-in successfully from Nigeria, lands in Canada and you’re denied entry. My bro/sis, please if you want to take this risk, Book an approved hotel for your Quarantine plan (14 days). You don’t have to pay online, you can just add your card and they are not going to charge you, You are going to pay at check-in. Just don’t give the Immigration any reason to have a long conversation with you. 1 Like |
