It's only commonsense that restricting access to guns will automatically reduce deaths caused by guns. A killer can stab few people to death with a knife whereas, a gun man can kill scores of people from a very far distance with an AK47. It's just a stupid take really.

Try legalising or doing open carry in Lagos and see if the death rate won't skyrocket. Small accident in go-slow lasan, blood will flow.

Republicans will turn it to a political issue,it is even a political issue.The NRA an association in support of guns backs and donates to republicans,guns are even a part of the amendment in the American constitution under the second amendment so every American has a right to bear arms.

I mean you’re absolutely correct about it been a political issue and been backed by the American constitution right to bear fire arms!

I just feel such laws should have been thrown into the abyss right now considering the unending danger and heavy loss of human lives that has accompanied it for a while now!

That’s why when people advocate for this in Nigeria I just get amazed cos you don’t even want that that’s being purely myopic cos the cons clearly outweighs the pros in a third world poverty country like Nigeria!
