Hey guys. Please I want to confirm about the 20hours study work permit Do they really take this seriously, because, to be frank, these bills(rent, tuition, utility, feeding) can't be paid sticking to this. I heard from someone who is staying already that they don't take it seriously as long as one pays the tax they were meant to pay while working. Please someone respond asap |

danieldg: Of course they don't take it seriously, why would they? UKVI was playing around when it placed a "20 hours during term time" warning on student visa stickers in their passports and on their BRPs. Feel free to work as long as you like. 6 Likes |

Honestly this question is worth answering o! I remember two months ago when I wanted to travel, and I came here to ask about staying in dartford because a “friend” is accommodating me. Lmaoooo long story short, I was already at muritala airport when she told me her mom is doing birthday and I can’t come to the house again, I was officially stranded hehehe what a silly excuse. I spent over 450 pounds doing my quarantine last minute at an hotel, how distraught I was. Oh well, now I’m settled in apartment with a good work from home part time job. Lexusgs430: 4 Likes |

dizzynet: No that is not enough, you need to do PCR 72 hours before departing the UK and complete and pay for another 2day on Nigeria international travel portal , you need to show evidence of all these at the airport in the UK and in Nigeria, they take this very seriously, When you are living Nigeria you have to do another PCR then when you arrived back in the UK you have to do another 2day test, All paid by you, Arrived Nigeria yesterday and went through all the procedure and will go through more, |

Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by justwise(m): 3:14pm On Dec 02, 2021 |
danieldg: That is exactly when you get in trouble, they take it very seriously when you get caught, don't take my advice but if you want to I will suggest you stick to 20hrs a week and over that during your holidays |

Trust me, nobody wants to feel that way. I felt sooooo bad, because she kept insisting I come stay with her. If I had known, I would have just gone ahead and rent ooooo. The 450 I spent for 7 days quarantine (did test to release) is that not enough to get a single room ni. As for our relationship, I didn’t hold anything against her, and still kept talking to her, but I guess she felt guilty, because we’ve not seen, neither has she called me since I arrived Irenenwaka: 2 Likes |
