West1side: Stop talking like an idiot. Ghana had several coups but Ghana is still made up of Regions and are doing well. Do you know why? Because none of the military rulers in Ghana ever abolished the Regions and created states, like Gowon did when he abolished the 4 Regions we had and created states 2 Likes |

mrvitalis:He has a point though, Nigerians are their problems. Give the people complaining power and they will misbehave pass bubu. We need to solve our personal problems, regional govermnet won't solve them all. It will only reduce. |

Emperor5:which grass root. Everybody is moving to city since they have neglected the urban and when we are practicing regional the government is started from Local government to State and Federal. This Unity system will never allow the good candidate to be in Government because you don't need to be popular from ur local government before been appointed as a commissioner or minister. if we want this country to move forward we need to drop this unity system and give ourselves the befitting system that will bring the government closer to the people. |

Rexwalters1: You claimed to know everything, from unitary system to federal system, state and regional, but when it comes to restructuring, you vein ignorance, suddenly you became the student that needs to be lectured. What are you afraid of, restructuring will benefit every region including the north 2 Likes |

Rexwalters1: The only dummy is you.....well, you and the other clever-by-half dummies with a similar penchant for deceit and twisting facts! Nigeria is operating a unitary system of gov't in all but name! It doesn't automatically become a practising federal entity just because Rexwalters and the useless Nigerian constitution says so! You want to tell me you don't see how states are beholden to Buhari and Abuja and dependent on them for monthly allocations (feeding bottle federalism)? You want to tell me you don't see how the useless constitution has centred most powers in the exclusive list that ordinarily in a federal system of gov't should be in the concurrent list? You want to tell me you don't see how the federal gov't has cornered the power to determine who gets what and how much in the oil and gas sector, while almost ignoring the gold mined in states like Zamfara? We all hear how the federal gov't sends down its murderous army to the Niger-Delta region to destroy illegal refineries and oil bunkerers, but we never hear of them doing likewise to miners of gold in Zamfara....why is that? See how your evil federal gov't, on a whim, can frustrate a state like Anambra that wants to open up its airport for operations, or wants to benefit fully from the exploitation of oil and gas found in its domain...yet you want to sit there and posit that states like Anambra are semi-autonomous and free to use their resources as they wish with minimal or no interference from the centre! And don't even think of using the worn out excuse you 'one Nigerianists' usually resort to when you say we should 'hold our governors first before looking to blame Abuja'! The governors and the political-economy they operate in are a product of the warped federal structure and failed leadership recruitment process in place from the late 60s to date......and even if they were brilliant and visionary enough, such qualities can only take them so far, before they're met with obstacles placed in their way by the 1999 'constitution' and a malevolent, vindictive, greedy, parasitic, nepotistic and bigoted federal gov't in Abuja! It's the status-quo in place today that allows a Buhari to centre more projects and federally enabled benefits in Katsina as against what is done for the entire south-east region, yet Rexwalters thinks that's acceptable and that the answer to any grievances the south-east may have is to go and hold their individual governors! It's people like you, who see white and call it black, just because you feel it benefits you to say so or because you feel it would disadvantage a region or people you despise....it's unsavoury characters like you that are a huge part of the problem Nigeria faces today! 2 Likes |

West1side: For starters, Ghana has the kind of peace and absence of murdering of its citizens in industrial numbers on a weekly basis that Nigeria can only dream of! It's a oasis of peace when compared to Nigeria! Or you think the effects of a country having a successful and working political structure and economy are only measured in naira and kobo...or cedi and pesewas, as the case may be? 1 Like |

If we practice regional government, hunger will finish the South East because you are the zone that generates the least revenue in Nigeria. Most of you are so uneducated, you keep asking for things that will finish you. Just remember that South East is not South South. |
