Hello Guys. I’m new on here. I have requested a surge appointment for Lagos on Friday Dec 3. I got an auto response email back. How long does it normally take for them to reply back? Thank you . And has anyone gotten a surge date recently for Dec 8 or Dec 15 from Lagos?

Place, do you have any idea how close interview dates can be? December? January? My resumption is mid January.

Also, supposing my interview is some time in January, will I need a new SOA or the one I got this week remains tenable?
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 16 by ifedayosol(m): 2:49pm On Dec 04, 2021
The earliest interview date as at this morning is Sept 22 2022. Just pick the available date, after that you request for emergency appointment and provide evidence to show that ur resumption is within the next 60days.

If your interview date falls after resumption date, kindly inform you school. They will advice you further.

Getting a visa for 6 months program will be hard. MBA, DBA and PhD in Management are what Inknow is recognised under F1 student visa program. And it is almost impossible to get scholarship or financial aid for MBA and DBA. But for PhD, it's possible, but very competitive. It is even more competitive than most science, engineering, and art courses. PhD Management is one of the top and most competitive program. If going for MBA and DBA, be ready to cought out $$$.

MBA is like 30 to 42 credit units depending of the program. The cost can vary btw $950 to $2,000 or more per credit unit for accredited colleges. Then, you still have to pay for accomodation, books, feeding and health.

Sakasitay:

Hello, I was a Marketing Major, then I did an MBA, but decided it was time to get into IT.

Some of the best IT programs for those without an undergrad background are:

- Information Systems
- Management Information Systems
- Information Technology
- Data Science
- Business Analytics

Computer Science might be a bit too theoretical and advanced at the graduate level esp for those without a prior experience in that discipline.

Nevertheless, it is possible to go all the way with Computer Science, if you have the patience of spending one year in the pre-admission program (where you gather credits in core CSC modules like Data Structures and Algorithms, Operating Systems, Programming Languages, All kinds of Maths and Stats lol - to meet up future admission requirements)

Please do you have more info about the pre-admission program or will it be done in the US after securing the admission?

Some schools allow you to do it online in your home country, while others let you attend the courses physically, but give a condition that you must pass those preliminary courses in order to progress/graduate.

Hello All,
Please help with advise.

I already secured a surge date for next week. Is it possible and advisable to complete a new DS 160 and update it in CGI?

I need to update a critical info on the DS160.

please advise.
Thanks

Additionally and more commonly - those preliminary courses do not count towards one’s program credits, but they must pass everything to either take the main modules or graduate.

Answers needed urgently
Hello guys please I have a sister in the US and I filled that I have a relative in the US on my already submitted DS160
And I've seen cases where people say they have relatives and they were denied
Even in my last interview I mentioned that I gave a sister there and I guess that's one of the reasons I was denied
Now I'm thinking of filling another ds160 and saying that I don't have anyone there and updating it on cgi
Hope it's not risky??
