I can remember when people on this forum were telling those of us that left September 2020 to wait till 2021 instead of traveling.

Now see the wahala paying money up and down doing different tests. It is well. That 14days quarantine is better than all this headache. All the best.

UKVI might pause issuance of visitor's visa.
Below is from UKVI website:
If you’re applying for a visitor visa from a country or territory on the red list
UKVI will continue to accept applications for visit visas in all red list countries, but the assessment of your visit visa will be paused until travel restrictions are lifted.

You will not receive your visit visa whilst red list travel restrictions remain in place.

If you are applying for a visitor visa from a red list country and need to travel urgently to the UK for compassionate reasons, you’ll still need to apply for a visa in the usual way, including submitting biometrics at your chosen VAC. You should clearly explain the compelling or compassionate reasons for your visit in your application form and must alert the VAC staff during biometric submission. You’ll be contacted by UKVI once your application has been received.

Depend on the school some schools dies not requir you to show pof before CAS..Best of luck

Coventry is in the West Midlands and almost 3hrs bus journey to Central London, I travelled through that route days ago.

For Coventry, rent is pretty affordable as I saw a one bedroom flat within the CV2 postcode going for £570 per month and less than 2 mins walk from the house is the bus stop (Norton Hill Drive) then take a bus to the University which is about 10mins ride.
