I actually spoke to CBSA and they confirmed as a student, you have to leave the banned country to a third unbanned country for 14days, get a molecular covid test done in that country after 14days and must be 72hrs prior to when you will enter Canada. Another test will be done on entering Canada before heading for another 14days quarantine. A last test will now be done after the 14days quarantine in Canada. So all in all, na 1month quarantine a student go do both outside and inside Canada. I hope that's clear

I tried submitting my husband's SOWP yesterday but the payment page keeps logging me out immediately it opens. An Error message pops up saying 'Your session has expired'. Though the payment window still opens up but the 'check out' icon won't get highlighted after putting in my card details.


Is someone else experiencing this?
Did someone pay visa fees recently?

You do not need to open separate accounts for them.
You will see the total cost of the Visas once you start your application.

I'm seeing something like study gap? Does it mean the university is not likely to accept my application because I had my MBA in 2007 and BSC in 2000. I have always been working so I have work experience.

I am confused? Will the study gap.of 2 years affect my application.

If the information about 14 days quarantine in another country not on the banned list is not sufficient for you, please call CBSA yourself or send mails to Canada embassies in Nigeria, Ghana, London and Nairobi or ask them on twitter.

Visa Officers always look out for Study Gaps in every application.. And any Study Gap that is not well explained can lead to a refusal by the Visa Officer.. For applicants that have Study Gaps, you will need to explain in detail what and what you have been doing productively during those years...

If possible, you can outline in detail what you been engaged within each year of your study Gap, if its a job, business, seminars, training e.t.c, just to show you have never been idle in those years of study gap, cos truth be told, Visa Officers do not wanna see any kind of Idleness in an application...

It's not a bad thing having a Study Gap, but it will be a bad thing and a bad move not explaining in detail your productive engagement in those years of Study Gap...

My journey her started in 2015 while in the UK. I applied to four universities for my LLM and only got in at University of Ottawa but my father's friend who lives in Canada says its more expensive than UK. Thus, ended continuation of my studies in UK with my LLM. 2016,my dad traveled to Canada again and met with an immigration consultant and explain all to them that it cheaper than UK (apparently my father's friend do charge my dad US DOLLARS as CAD for everything my dad does on Canada). It was then my father knew the kind of friend he has.

The consultant asked me and my sis to apply to colleges for PGC from the UK, We got in but then the devil taught he had succeeded (my father was scammed by another friend in same Canada and lost lot of money). Then he could only sponsor one person. As a big sister haven been to the UK years before my younger sis, I stepped down and ask her to go. She left new year 2017 while I came down to Nigeria.

Coming down, I have saved money to cover tuition deposit for Canada, so convinced my dad that he should only sponsor me to enter since I had the tuition, he agreed. I applied on my won because, the Canada consultant was charging us $2,000. The course was PGC paralegal. I submitted my app.with my LLB, BSc. LLM but was refused due to no career progression and not convinced I will come back. I reapplied but this time with the consultant since he was the one who handle my sis app then. He first charged us $200 for GCSMC note (the refusal comprehensive note).

The second app. was done with a long SOP and all documents notarized yet another refusal that they were not convinced I will come back, travel history, purpose of visit. Then I gave up and pursued my NYSC, law school. I was called to bar 2019 and start work. It was last year September my dad and sis started fighting me that I was too comfortable with Nigeria. I told my dad not to start because he had said then in 2017 that must I ho back, people were making in Nigeria and no more education or PhD for me in his house. That I was going to do that in my husband's house (me that do not have boyfriend talk less).

He apologized then I started with WES, IELTS (first attempt, L:6.5, R:8.5, W:5.5, S:6.5), tutorials in IELTS (second attempt, L:8.5,R:7.5,W:6.5,S:8.0) submitted EE and went on with some Provincial nominee. Yet nothing until August my sis started with apply for a masters program again after getting rejected in Carleton University for a PhD program even though I had secured supervisor and using the same proposal to bag two phd offer in UK and 1 Australia. In order for peace to be, I applied and was given admission and the submitted the application.

Hi, I think the admissions depends on your course. Some courses have rolling admissions while some clearly state that admissions would start a few weeks after the deadline. Kindly check what your program website states.

Are you fully vaccinated? All the information I’m getting states that for fully vaccinated travelers you only have to quarantine until you get your Covid test results.
