That's because they have not used their past 14 days in a country that is not banned. amblessed2021: 2 Likes |

Canada students, let be praying ooo, in all of this ban, our government is not saying anything, even our schools are just doing mumu mumu for the Canadian authorities. Unlike what is happening with UK ban on students, CNN interviewed Nigeria's high commissioner to the UK last night, many people have faulted UK's ban on us, its all over twitter, Nigerian government don carry am for head, UK schools are even willing to pay the 2,275 pounds for any student coming from red list countries. Is it that we dont have any bilateral relationship with Canada or the number of people/students affected by this Canada ban is insignificant to the Nigerian government and Canadian schools? cos nobody is saying anything about it except we the students 13 Likes 1 Share |

Download bater by flutter wave, fund the account by transferring from your Bank to it through an account number that will be provided, create a dollar card and fund it, then use the info on the dollar card for your transaction above $100. NB: the rate is a bit high if you don’t mind. gustav25: 3 Likes 1 Share |

My program won't start until fall 2022, but I need answers to these crucial questions: IRCC expects students to have at least CAN$10,000 for their living expenses for a year. Is that the same funds that they want us to demonstrate when we get to the border with the Canada Border Services Agent? Or are we expected to have additional funds other than that? Peradventure, we need to show some money at the border. Should it be just a statement of account, or should we carry cash with us? IRCC has approved my application for a study permit, and I want to apply for SOWP and visit for my spouse and child, respectively. In the proof of fund for their applications, how much do they expect to have in their account? My spouse will jointly apply with my child. IRCC said CAN$4,000 for the first family member and CAN$3,000 for an additional accompanying family member. Is that all they need to show? Your contribution will be very much appreciated. Thanks. |

Hello Katehasty, Thanks for your prompt reply. I find this attached section confusing. Should I put the Western Union details on the section requesting correspondence bank information since I do not have the school direct account details? Katehasty:

Perhaps it is because it directly affects them that they are speaking out about the UK ban, i.e. government officials who are taking it seriously. They would obviously speak out if they have loved ones or business dealings with the United Kingdom. I may be wrong but it's best we sort ourselves out, help may or may not be coming from that end... To everyone going through Accra I will advice you go by air. They also have their arrival form online where you will be asked questions about vaccination and address in Accra etc. This form can be filled also when you arrive kotoka but it's better you fill it online it saves you lots of time. Also it's important you have a contact number of someone in Accra, the phone number requested on the form is a Ghana line not Nigeria, it won't accept naija line. Its important you pay for the compulsory covid test on arrival, you will be charged 50usd as a Nigerian but outside Ecowas countries 150usd. Payment is done online and will show this to them when you arrive. Tell Ghana immigration you came for holiday and intend to spend 3 weeks so you can get 30days or 3months stay. I was given 90 days. I advice you keep receipt of the hotel that shows 14days payment of your hotel you stayed in quarantine in Accra. Keep your covid test result taken before you left naija and result of when you arrived Accra. Pls note the hospital or lab where your covid test will be done before leaving naija must be part of the Ghana's accepted list. All the best to us. 5 Likes |

This is not through please. Its a general information been given please. Also the same way you will be told to have US visa by Ethiopian Airlines if they have to transit through US. I have spoken to immigration and Ethiopian airline here in Accra and I was told I have no restrictions so far I leave after 14days not before. Why should you be stopped when the rule is clearly stated on ircc's website. Alot of people don't want to drop info of their plans or routes because of the unnecessary panics created by some.. and fake news. They rather get to Canada before giving out info.. Jaymaster18: |
