THE Federal Government on Monday demanded that Britain rescind the ban imposed on Nigerian travellers over Omicron variant of COVID-19, saying that putting the country on the red list is “unjust, unfair, divisive, indefensible and discriminatory.”https://tribuneonlineng.com/omicron-variant-why-ramaphosas-visit-was-not-stopped/

On the recent visit of South African delegation led by President Cyril Ramaphosa to Nigeria despite South African having just confirmed the Omicron variant in the country, Mohammed said the visit was not stopped because the Federal Government did not want to act in hysteria and panic. This government are very senseless, because of one visiting you put your people in danger,85% of the omicron variant we have is from south Africa 23 Likes 2 Shares |

I don't like anything about this man. The government is only on panic mood because London is their save haven for medical treatment and they are also afraid their kids who school there won't be able to come back this Xmas. The interest of Nigerians is not at stake here in anyway. 9 Likes 1 Share |

In as much as FG and Lai Mohammed are despicable, I agree with their position on this. Imagine how they are treating Africa, till today non of the western countries have stood up to China for giving the world Covid. They even had to change the name to omicron not to offend China. Imagine what would have been our fate if Covid had originated from Africa or even if there was the slightest rumour that it originated from Africa. I don't blame them I blame the useless and good for nothing thieves that have been recycling themselves and their cronies as leaders. I also blame we the masses for being docile and will only act as voltron when it is time to wage tribal or religious war against our fellow poor Nigerians. 4 Likes |

hisexcellency34:He said it is wrong to impose such punishment on a population of 200 million people because of a few cases of Omicron variant that did not originate in the country. This is a very big lie the only person affected are the politician, friends, and families; less than 10000 of our population |
